The general requirements and admissions process for international applicants is as follows:

  • Students from India must have completed their high school education in arts or science streams with a percentage greater than 60%
  • Students should be proficient in Dutch and English Languages (If required)

Dutch Language Proficiency Requirements

Tests accepted by:-

  • Faculty of Science & Faculty of Medicine (LUMC): Dutch TUL intermediate exam from the Academic Language Centre or Dutch NT2-II diploma (in Dutch)
  • All other faculties: Dutch TUL advanced exam from the Academic Language Centre

Visa Process

  • Once students receive an offer letter from the university, the university will request a student visa on behalf of the applicant.
  • The application can be filled through the online application system uSis.
  • Students need to submit the following documents:
    • Copy of passport
    • Signed Antecedents certificate
    • Proof of financial support
    • Bank statement
    • Sponsor letter, if applicable
    • Acceptance letter
    • Scholarship letter, if applicable
  • After the submission of the above mentioned documents students will receive a confirmation of visa email.
  • Students can contact the Dutch embassy after receiving the visa approval.
  • Students can then get a visa appointment and submit the biometrics data.
