Being a Student at Glasgow Caledonian University
Because it's one of the best modern universities in the world, it's progressive socially and environmentally and has an amazing Environmental Management program in the School of Engineering and the Built Environment.
It is well designed to help you learn theory but also allows you to develop necessary technical skills which include mastering Geographic Information Systems, practice in analytical chemistry for environmental assessment. The course also provides an option to study abroad or work on placement.
IGCSE\'s: English (A*), Spanish (A*), Italian (A*), French (A), Biology (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (A), Art (A). A-levels: Spanish (A), French (A), Italian (A), Geography (B)
The course is mostly graded in course works, which allow students to learn in-depth whilst also having a bit of leeway in exploring certain phenomena which interest them most. The course works can sometimes be broad, allowing you to pick your own topic in the module.
The faculty is endlessly supportive and strive to inspire their students. They do their best to make sure you understand the taught module and explore outside their material.
Tuition is free for Scottish and EU students. I have not had to pay for a single textbook at all due to the nature of my course.
Monthly Expense : $200 - $500
