Uttaranchal University BTech CSE first-year fees range from ₹2,26,490 to ₹2,95,026 for the Uttarakhand quota and ₹2,49,300 to ₹3,25,000 for All India seats in 2026-27. The qualifying-marks slab and tuition scholarship determine the amount. These include first-year charges; the 2027-28 campus fees are awaited.

Uttaranchal University Campus Fees 2026–27

Each range below runs from the highest qualifying-marks slab, 90.01% or above, to the fourth slab, up to 70%. The lower end includes the merit scholarship stated in that programme’s 2026–27 fee sheet. The MBA slabs use graduation marks; undergraduate slabs use Class 12 marks. These amounts cover the two semesters of the first academic year.

The top All India BTech CSE scholarship slab reduces first-year fees by ₹75,700 compared with the fourth slab. A full-course total cannot use the same first-year amount throughout because joining charges are paid once and the merit award covers the first year.

What the BTech CSE First-Year Fee Includes

An All India General-category CSE student in the top marks slab pays ₹1,34,650 in semester one and ₹1,14,650 in semester two. The total of ₹2,49,300 includes academic fees after the applicable scholarships, development fees and other charges.

The first semester includes ₹20,000 in one-time charges: ₹10,000 admission, ₹2,000 enrolment, ₹6,000 student welfare and ₹2,000 refundable caution money. Examination, library, student ID/activity, online information and training charges recur as required.

Merit Scholarship and Domicile Fee Rules

For eligible courses, Uttaranchal’s merit scholarship reduces the tuition fee by 30% for at least 90.01% in the qualifying exam, 20% for 80.01% to 90%, and 10% for 70.01% to 80%. The scholarship rules say this award applies to the first year only and requires the qualifying subjects to have been cleared on the first attempt. It does not reduce every fee component.

Uttarakhand domicile students can seek a 25% tuition scholarship and a State quota seat by presenting the original domicile certificate. The university also lists a 25% tuition scholarship for eligible hill-state domiciles. Some named courses, including BSc Nursing and Executive MBA, are excluded from the general merit scholarship. The university states that only one scholarship type applies to a candidate. Students should use the programme fee sheet and their offer letter to see which award is included in the payable amount.

Uttaranchal University Online Fees for the January 2027 Intake

The online unit has standard and limited-time early-bird fees for its January 2027 intake. The reduced total depends on the offer remaining available at payment.

Online fees include ₹2,500 per semester for examinations. One-time, annual and semester payment plans have different totals.

Hostel and Mess Fees 2026–27

Hostel and mess for 2026-27 total ₹92,000 for four-sharing, ₹97,000 for triple-sharing, ₹1,05,000 for double-sharing or ₹1,30,000 for a single room. These include ₹40,500 for mess, ₹2,500 for laundry and a refundable ₹2,000 deposit. Separate girls flat options range from ₹95,000 to ₹1,35,000.

Hostel charges are additional to tuition and course charges. Room availability depends on the hostel allocation. The 2027–28 accommodation schedule may differ from these 2026–27 amounts.
