How does the curriculum of KNLC ensure the best practice of industry?
“Equipping students with the necessary skill sets for practical knowledge”
Our institution has been constantly striving to revise and revamp the curriculum in tune with the emerging trends and patterns. Every effort is taken to ensure industry-academia as it is the future of our youth brigade and we can’t compromise with anything when it comes to the career of our youth. Experts from the industry are part of the content development and methodology development and training. We have MOU’s with various law firms to train our students and encourage them to handle the task as well. We ensure that best and updated study material is provided to the candidates, subject experts are allotted to each subject. Test series has been designed by law experts to have a detailed analysis and help students learn time management.
How would you describe your leadership style?
“Participation and delegation of power”
I would describe my leadership style as direct, and leading by example. I enjoy delegating tasks and taking the lead on projects, and also encouraging team members to participate. I also stay involved and inspire my team by showing that I’m working hands-on to help them, too.
What are your professional goals for the next 5-10 years?
“Creating strong academic and administrative rigor”
My ultimate goal for the next five years is to master my position and advance into a managerial role within my department. I have drawn to the personalized training approach our institution outlines and this approach to training will allow me and other faculty to learn new skills and grow within the position. Over the next five years, I aspire to take on new and exciting projects within the company that will prepare me for a management role with the organization.
What mistakes do some students make while preparing for law entrances?
“Preparatory mishandlings, lack of proper knowledge and motivation”
Cracking a law entrance exam is not tough, but the right strategy and path is required from inception to end. Some students make small or silly mistakes during their preparation like beginning preparation without analysis, improper prioritizing and lack of research oriented study. Non generic approach of preparation such as reading and learning unnecessary topics, sticking on just one or few topics for a long period of time or unverified study sources also lead to failures. Moreover, poor revision strategy, lack of discipline and evaluation are some other common mistakes.
What strategy do you employ for building an efficient work team?
“Effective company wide open-door policy”
A simple strategy to make your every employee feel heard and part of something meaningful is highly effective in retaining team work. This can be achieved by communicating with your team on a regular basis, listening to various ideas and concerns, and updating personnel on corporate changes and transformations.
Tell us how you delegate tasks and make sure students crack the law entrances?
“On time assignment of task and evaluations”
The first step is choosing the right person for each work. Part of being a good leader is understanding your employees’ strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. If you need to delegate a task, delegate it to someone who prefers collaborating, and not someone who feels strong working alone. As our delegation of work has a direct relation with the career of the students, it is checked and evaluated time to time so that any student doesn't lag behind and constant efforts are made on each student to make them clear the entrance exam.
Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?
“Create ideas, act accordingly and lead”
My advice to the current youth is think before you act and be humble. You must not be a follower, but a creator, a leader. Establish a set of values socially and professionally, and maintain emotional stability as well. Remember, hard work is permanent, smart work is not.
