What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Honest approaches and better understanding”

There is no philosophy, you just have to be extremely honest with your profession, no matter what. In the education sector, you have to be honest with the students and give them the best. I always look after the needs of my faculty and thereby students, so that we have a well-established atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding between all.

What are your responsibilities towards the students?

“Providing necessary facilities and learning materials”

As far as the students are concerned, I am always in touch with them and try to figure out what their requirements are, and what else can be done so they perform well in the exams. I need to ensure that each student has access to all necessary reading material and all their needs are taken care of. Even in my books I provide the best quality and the concepts are clear. If there is any change in the exam pattern, it needs to be included in the syllabus. I have included many concepts in Volume 1, also the class notes are updated. As management head, I need to provide the best faculty for different subjects and ensure students are gaining knowledge.

How does KD Campus ensure the best development of the students?

“Accessibility to various resources and methodologies for learning”

We have different batches for all the exams. Most students come for SSC, Bank PO, air force, NDA and technical. They are allotted their respective batches. There can be no mix and match, since the syllabi are entirely different. After segregating the students, we give them the best of the teachers, we have publications that provide the best reading material and test series. We also have KD Live, it provides best online assistance as required. We are providing them online classes. One batch is exclusively run for the students of KD Campus, and while fulfilling their demands, we reached at no. 1 position automatically.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities towards the institution are?

“Strategizing and managing each and every requirement”

I am involved in all the activities. For publication, I have to write books and prepare study material. I am involved in designating the batches and allotting the best suited faculty for each batch. As for the center, I teach the students, I visit the office, I oversee collections, requirements and the kinds of inquiries we get for exams, so we can decide on the batches accordingly. I have a huge and reliable team, and we work together in managing everything.

What do you think should be KD Campus’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Advancements in online aspects and teaching pedagogy”

We need to be present online as well as offline nowadays. Changes in government policies, exam patterns and planning needs to be observed from time to time. So we aspire to build our students strong in this aspect and work harder than before. Our top priority is to multiply and diversify like we already have KD Publications and KD Live. We are planning on expanding on the online platform, offline expansion is restricted though.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“The decreasing opportunities for students”

The problem is that, in the last 4-5 years, the vacancies have dropped in every field. These problems hinder the smooth functioning and recruitment process. The students also get disheartened with such issues because of government procedures, even after scoring good marks. The governments need to create more vacancies.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the aspiring students?

“Work harder and do not lose motivation”

Students are enlightened today; they know what to do. They have the guts and zeal to do it. Students just need to keep working hard, and be aware of the current situation, with higher cut-off, lower vacancies and tougher examinations. Sometimes, they get demotivated, but they should remember - Success comes to those who refuse to fail.
