Ques. How is Mithibai College Mumbai for a B.Com?

Ans. According to the reviews online, if you are pursuing a very demanding professional course, rethink about joining Mithibai college. Firstly, you will need to maintain at least 75% attendance, missing that you won't be able to sit for your examinations.  Due to autonomy, they have got powers to change the examination system according to their will. While all other colleges have just one internal (FC), here they have internals for every subject.  These internals include a written test of 25 marks for Maths, Economics and Accounts.  For the other subjects, they want you to do projects and make PPTs and give a proper presentation.  All these take away your time for your professional exam studies.  This is a problem because you also have to study for the semester exams.  So while every other college's CA students study once at the end, students here have to study throughout. If you are pursuing B.Com, it is suggested that you go for other options like HR and NM. The teaching faculty is better than other colleges, so that is a plus. Lastly, it completely depends on your choice to pursue B.Com here or not.Read more
