Q1. What is the intake for M.Tech (Structural Engineering) at FISAT and how are seats divided?
Ans. The annual intake for M.Tech (Structural Engineering and Construction Management) at FISAT is 24 seats. These are divided equally: 50% (12 seats) under Government Quota (filled through DTE Kerala counselling based on GATE score/aggregate marks) and 50% (12 seats) under Management Quota (direct admission by FISAT).
Q2. Is GATE mandatory for M.Tech (Structural Engineering) admission at FISAT?
Ans. GATE is not mandatory for Management Quota seats. However, for Government Quota seats, DTE Kerala prepares a rank list based on GATE score or aggregate marks in the qualifying degree. GATE-qualified candidates also get the AICTE-GATE scholarship of Rs. 12,400/month.
Q3. What are the research and specialization areas in M.Tech (Structural Engineering) at FISAT?
