Ques. What is the total fee for B.Tech Lateral ECS at FRCRCE?
Ans. The total fee for the three-year B.Tech Lateral in Electronics and Computer Science at FRCRCE is INR 5,55,000, payable at INR 1,85,000 per year for Years 2, 3, and 4. Lateral entry starts directly in the second year, so Year 1 is not applicable. Fees are uniform across all B.Tech lateral branches at FRCRCE under FRA-approved rates. Hostel and other charges are separate.
Ques. Who can apply for B.Tech Lateral ECS at FRCRCE?
Ans. Diploma holders who have completed a three-year Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related branch with a minimum 45 percent aggregate (40 percent for reserved-category Maharashtra candidates) are eligible. Candidates must register for the Maharashtra DSE CAP 2026 on mahacet.org and obtain a valid merit rank in the Electronics or Computer Science category to be considered for FRCRCE.
