There is no fee hike policy in DU as a whole. The same goes for my college. A greater proportion of courses lie in the range of Rs.10000 to Rs. 50000 a year which is quite low in comparison to other colleges. But the cost to study in Delhi is far more than the college fees. This is because of the costly accommodation in the area surrounded by colleges. The colleges which do not have their hostels, one being mine pose a difficulty for students to pay for expensive accommodation to live near your college. The PGs, hostels, and flats provided in these areas range from Rs. 10000 to Rs. 25000 a month. Adding up petty expenses cost on an average of about Rs. 15000 a month for each student including meals.

The fees are not much. It is approximately 9000 per year. Hence, the fee is not a problem. There are few scholarships but I have no idea about it. But I guess there are few available that can be availed by only 2-3 students.

The fee structure of all the courses are quite affordable for all, annual fees of the BA Programme is 24,200, whereas annual fees of BA Hons is around 36,000 to 1 lac and B.EL.ED has 45,000. Scholarships like the National portal scheme are there for many girls, students get scholarships under the sports category as well. The campus job is based on your course like students from BA Programme focus on further studies, as they prepare for UPSC, on the contrary students from Management and B.Com Hons gets good placement with a nice package around 4-5 lac from the companies like EY, Deloitte, etc. Students from all courses get the opportunity of internships, some of them are paid and some of them are unpaid, but it gives a lot of learning experience, knowledge, networking and exposure to the students.

Our fees is really less and affordable. A student can pay the fees even with part time jobs . Also, there are scholarship programs for students who are poor. Mine is 12000 per year that is just 1000 per month(Bcom honors). So I guess anyone can afford it. We get all the facilities and our fees doesn't define the quality of teaching, opportunity and Environment provided to us by the college. Ours is a government funded college that's why our fees is so less.

The best part about Delhi University is their fee structure, so talking about my course all over it cost just around 30k for the entire journey. There were few scholarships as well which I wasn't aware of but one should surely check before admission because it's really helpful. We get so many companies to visit our campus like KPMG, Delloite, E&Y, etc but mainly they focus on B.Com students.

There are many scholarships on their website. This is a girls' college so there are many scholarships for girls. There are many scholarships for the sports category also. Fees depend on your choosen course. You have to submit your fees in starting of each year. The fees are moderate. Near about 13000 rs. Fees per year. Scholarships like national portal scheme etc. Are available. There are many internship opportunities in which you can gain a stipend. Gargi College is one of the top colleges so they provide jobs to many people. 80% + students got jobs from Gargi college. As they are fresher so their salary lies between 20000 to 30000.

To be very very honest the fees of the college is very less as compared to other college and there is no hike in fees and the cost of the study is also very very less. Poor, middle and high-class people study in the college. I have not got any scholarship but other people I know got the scholarship and the financial assistance provided by the scholarship is that students get free education for a year and I have got a job in Unschool with a stipend of Rs. 10000 from college.

The cost isn’t too high for a DU college. And if you’re good in other skills and have good grades there are scholarship programs in college to help you through the course. There are some on the basis of your category, your marks, your family’s financial status, sports achievements and in any other curricular activities. But you’ve to be good in the particular fields to take advantages of a scholarship as there’s always too much competition. About internship and placements, there are placement cells in the college for the same you’ve to clear the interview first and then you can have a job. There are both paid and non paid jobs available. I did a job in the decathlon for a few months and that was pretty fun and inspiring. The only cons are you’ve to be pretty good in every aspect.

The fee structure was nominal, it was hiked once only. Also for financial assistance, there are options that can be availed if required( by reaching out to the Accounts department). You get enough opportunities to go for internships and side jobs that can help you through and also various competitions are paid as well. Looking through the cost lens, this one is a great opportunity. The placements offer somewhere around 4-7 LPA.

"Internship experience"

So yes, as everyone I applied for various colleges across India such as 'Goenka college of Kolkata and Christ University of Bangalore and I successfully got into them but I didn't opt to get admitted because firstly Delhi University has always fascinated me secondly Gargi college is a dream college for everyone in every term say it exposure or the alumni and the placement cells. Gargi has the best placement cells on the south campus also the fee was the bare minimum which any middle class can afford.

"Internships"

I have applied for LSR in the first go but couldn't get Philosophy honors in the same due to percentage deduction on change of stream. I have applied to Daulat Ram College but later changed my mind and came to Kamala Nehru College for BA in Economics plus Maths combination. Further saw that I cleared the cut-off list for Gargi College too. I found that Gargi College has a better rank than KNC. So went to Gargi college and got enrolled there. But after studying for a week, I found that I couldn't cope with Maths and Economics both, as a result of which finally. I swapped to B.Com honors, the one stream which I had in my class 11th and 12th. I have availed of an EWS certificate due to which I

"College review"

I applied for Gargi college only and I got into it. I forgot about minimum marks but there was no age limit I guess. The admission process was good, we were asked to go to the academic block and teachers were there and they were helpful.ST quota the objective of providing reservations to the scheduled tribes is not only to give jobs to some persons belonging to these communities. It basically aims at empowering them and ensuring their participation in the decision-making process of the states.
