About MIT-WPU B.Tech

The total fees with hostel is INR 25.20 Lakhs for the CS related branches, and the fees without hostel is INR 16.40 Lakhs. You pay a programme fee of INR 4.10 Lakhs a year in that group, INR 3.65 Lakhs in the core group and INR 3 Lakhs in the civil group. The CS related branches cost INR 1.80 Lakhs more than the core ones and INR 4.40 Lakhs more than the civil group. Hostel is your choice.

MIT-WPU B.Tech Eligibility
You need 50% in Class 12 with English, and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Reserved category students from Maharashtra need 45%. You also need a JEE Main, MHT CET or PERA CET score. Bioengineering alone also takes Biology with an MHT CET PCB or NEET score.

MIT-WPU B.Tech Admission Process
You apply online and pay a form fee of INR 2,000. You add your exam score once the result is out and send a 500-word SOP. The university shows the result on your applicant dashboard and emails a provisional offer. You pay the first instalment, get your PRN and hand in your original papers.

MIT-WPU B.Tech Branches and Fees
The 14 branches sit in six branch groups, and the full fee without hostel goes from INR 12 Lakhs to INR 16.40 Lakhs. The fee group decides what you pay; the branch decides what you study. No seats, cutoffs or pay are published by branch. The university also lists three newer programmes: CSE (AI and Data Science), Electronics (Semiconductor and VLSI Design) and Renewable Energy.

MIT-WPU B.Tech Scholarships
The Dr. Vishwanath Karad Scholarship waives 100% of the fee for the top 3% of the intake. Merit Scholarship-I takes 50% off for the next 8%, and Merit Scholarship-II takes 25% off for the next 12%. Places go by your entrance score, first come, first served. You keep a waiver only with CGPA 8.0 and 80% attendance.
