    • Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electronics and Computer Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering

The total BE fee is INR 4,32,000 for the four-year programme, uniform across all five branches (approximately INR 1,08,000 per year). RCOE is among the more affordable private engineering colleges in Mumbai under the University of Mumbai system. No hostel is available on campus. The college has approximately 1,600 undergraduate students across all branches and years.

Admission Update: RCOE Mumbai admissions for the 2026 academic session run through two routes. DTE Maharashtra CAP rounds (for non-minority seats) are ongoing, with registration closed July 12, 2026. The Minority Quota (51% of seats) process is managed directly by the college. Visit cetcell.mahacet.org for CAP round dates or contact RCOE at rizvicollege.edu.in for minority quota details.

RCOE Mumbai Admission Process

RCOE Mumbai follows a dual-route admission framework. The non-minority seats (49%) are filled through DTE Maharashtra CAP. The minority quota seats (51%) are reserved for Muslim minority candidates and filled through a separate institutional process.

BE Admission - CAP Route

Eligibility for BE requires Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biology as the third subject. Minimum aggregate in PCM is 45% for Open category and 40% for backward class and PwD candidates.

  • Register and upload documents on the DTE Maharashtra CAP portal at cetcell.mahacet.org
  • Fill option form listing RCOE Mumbai and preferred branch in order of preference
  • Allotment is based on MHT CET percentile or JEE Main score under the state/All India quota
  • Report to the college for document verification and fee payment after allotment

BE Admission - Minority Quota

Muslim minority candidates may apply directly to RCOE for the minority quota seats (51% of total). Eligibility criteria are the same as the CAP route (Class 12 PCM with 45%). Minority quota selection is based on academic merit in PCM and entrance exam scores. Contact RCOE at rizvicollege.edu.in for the current cycle’s minority quota application form, cut-off dates, and document requirements.

RCOE Mumbai Placements

RCOE Mumbai’s Training and Placement Cell organises campus and pool campus drives for final-year BE students. The college has a student strength of approximately 1,600 across all UG years, with Computer Engineering and AI and Data Science as the primary branches attracting IT sector recruiters.

Companies from IT services, banking, and infrastructure sectors have participated in placement drives at RCOE. Recruiters cited include TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Jio, ICICI Bank, and Reliance. Civil and Mechanical branch graduates primarily access core engineering and infrastructure sector roles through off-campus channels and internship-to-placement pipelines.

RCOE Mumbai Campus and Infrastructure

RCOE Mumbai is located at Off Carter Road, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050, in the heart of one of Mumbai’s most well-connected residential suburbs. The campus is within walking distance of Bandra Station on the Western Railway line, with additional access from the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) metro corridor.

The college occupies an eight-story building, with the engineering departments on six floors. Rizvi College of Architecture shares the upper two floors of the same building. Facilities include branch-specific computer labs, a central library with around 26,000 books, periodicals, journals, and online access, seminar halls, and a department of Applied Sciences and Humanities. No on-campus hostel is available. Students typically arrange private accommodation in the Bandra West area, with PG options available in the surrounding streets.

RCOE Mumbai vs Atharva College of Engineering vs Fr. CRCE Mumbai

Aspirants shortlisting mid-tier private engineering colleges in Mumbai under the University of Mumbai system often compare RCOE with Atharva College of Engineering (Malad West) and Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (Fr. CRCE, Bandra West). All three are University of Mumbai-affiliated, AICTE-approved private colleges admitting through DTE Maharashtra CAP.

Fr. CRCE, established in 1985, has a longer track record and strong alumni network in Mumbai’s IT and engineering sectors. Atharva CoE in Malad offers more branches. RCOE’s advantage lies in its Bandra West location, affordable fee structure, and the minority quota pathway for eligible Muslim candidates. Aspirants who are not from the minority community compete only for the CAP seats (49% of total) at RCOE.
