Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a three-year Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognised Board or University with a minimum of 45% marks. SC/ST candidates are eligible with a minimum of 40% marks.

A valid JEECUP score in the lateral entry paper is required for participation in UPTAC counselling for AKTU-affiliated colleges.

Admission is processed exclusively through UPTAC, the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling authority, for all AKTU-affiliated colleges across the state.

Candidates who have passed the first year of the B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised university are also eligible to apply through the lateral entry route.

Admission Process

Register for the JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh) lateral entry paper through the official JEECUP portal within the announced registration window.

Appear for the JEECUP lateral entry examination and check results to obtain a valid rank for UPTAC lateral entry counselling.

Register on the UPTAC portal after results are declared and complete the online document verification process as specified by the counselling authority.

Participate in online choice-filling for AKTU-affiliated colleges and branches, selecting Panchwati Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut, as a preferred institution.
