Andhra University Admission 2027 follows two kinds of seats at its Visakhapatnam campus. Regular seats are filled through the state tests and state counselling run by APSCHE. B.Tech uses AP EAPCET, MBA and MCA use AP ICET, M.Tech uses AP PGECET or GATE, and MA, M.Sc and M.Com use AP PGCET. Law uses AP LAWCET, and Ph.D uses AP RCET. AU also fills self-support seats through its own forms, at a higher fee. For self-support B.Tech, AU conducts a separate test called AUEET. Self-support seats get no state fee support or scholarship. Every AU notice is put up on audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in, and no call letter is sent to you.
Andhra University B.Tech Admission 2027
AU College of Engineering offers B.Tech in many branches, from Computer Science to Naval Architecture. You can get a seat in two ways. Regular seats are given through AP EAPCET and the state counselling. Self-support seats are given on your AUEET rank. Last year, AUEET had 690 self-support seats, and 540 of them were in Computer Science. After a self-support B.Tech, you can stay two more years for an M.Tech.
Andhra University B.Tech Eligibility 2027
You need Class 12 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. For AUEET, you need 45% marks in these subjects, or 40% if you are from a reserved category. For a regular seat, you need an AP EAPCET 2027 rank in the engineering stream. 85% of the seats in each course go to local students of the AU area.

For a regular seat, apply for AP EAPCET in February or March and write the test in May. Then register for state counselling, upload your certificates and choose AU College of Engineering in your web options. For a self-support seat, apply for AUEET on the AU admissions site and write the test in May. AU then conducts a separate web counselling in phases.

The 2027 notices are not out yet, so these dates follow last year. AUEET 2026 was held on 10 May, and results came on 14 May. The first phase fee date was extended to 30 Jun 2026. AP EAPCET engineering exams were held from 12 to 18 May 2026, and phase 1 counselling began on 20 Jul.

Andhra University B.Tech Fees at Admission 2027
For a self-support seat, the yearly fee depends on the branch. It is INR 2.05 Lakhs for CSE, INR 1.55 Lakhs for ECE and INR 1.30 Lakhs for Mechanical. Civil and EEE cost INR 1.05 Lakhs a year. You also pay a special fee of INR 1,760 and a one time fee of INR 3,000. AU has not printed the regular seat fee on its site.

AU offers 18 MA courses at the College of Arts and Commerce, with 725 seats in total. English has the most seats with 89, followed by Economics with 79 and Telugu with 78. Each course has regular seats, and most also have self-funded and self-support seats. All of them are filled on your AP PGCET 2027 rank.

You need a bachelor's degree in a subject that matches your MA course. Each course has its own rule, and the AP PGCET booklet lists it. B.Tech, MBBS and other professional degrees are not accepted for most MA courses. For self-support seats, you must have an AP PGCET 2026 rank.

Andhra University MA Admission Process 2027
Apply for AP PGCET between February and March, and pick the test code of your MA course. Write the test in May. After the results, register for PGCET counselling and choose AU in your web options. If a self-support seat is left, AU asks for a paper form later and holds counselling at its admissions office.

Andhra University MA Fees at Admission 2027
AU has printed the fee only for self-support seats. Most MA courses cost INR 29,500 a year on a self-support seat. Hindi and Kuchipudi Dance cost INR 30,000, and Yoga and Consciousness costs INR 49,500. You pay the fee at counselling, and you cannot ask for more time.

AU offers 33 M.Sc courses, mostly at the College of Science and Technology, with 1,409 seats. Mathematics has 100 seats, Physics has 98, and Botany and Statistics have 88 each. Like MA, every M.Sc seat is filled on your AP PGCET rank. AU also has rare courses like Marine Biology, Nuclear Physics, Meteorology and Physical Oceanography.

You need a B.Sc with the subject of your M.Sc course, or a closely linked subject. For Geography, half the seats go to students who studied Geography in their degree. For Applied Geology, the course lasts three years. Check the exact rule for your course in the AP PGCET booklet.

On a self-support seat, M.Sc fees range from INR 39,500 to INR 79,500 a year. Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics cost the most. Physics, Mathematics and most Chemistry courses cost INR 49,500. If you take a self-support seat, you get no scholarship.

AU has taught the MBA since 1957. Regular MBA seats are filled through AP ICET and the state counselling. AU also has 240 self-support MBA seats. Half are at the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, and half at the AU School of International Business. A two year online MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management has 60 more seats.

Andhra University MBA Fees at Admission 2027
A self-support MBA seat costs INR 1.5 Lakhs a year. The online Logistics MBA costs INR 60,000 a year, or INR 40,000 for defence staff and their families. On these seats, you pay the full fee yourself.

AU admits Ph.D scholars in arts, science, engineering, pharmacy and law. Full time and part time seats are filled through AP RCET, a state test with an interview. Working people can also join through AU's own Executive or Extramural seats. These seats need no test, only a form and counselling.

You need a PG degree with 55% marks. SC, ST, BC non creamy layer and disabled students need 50%. For an Executive seat, you need five years of work, two of them after your PG. For an Extramural seat, you must work in a research centre that AU has approved.

Can I write both AP EAPCET and AUEET for B.Tech?▾
Yes. They lead to different seats at the same college. AP EAPCET gives regular seats through state counselling, and AUEET gives self-support seats through AU's own counselling. Writing both gives you two chances.
