Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates from Uttar Pradesh).

A valid JEE Main 2026 score is required for admission through UPTAC counselling. No separate state-level entrance exam is needed for B.Tech IT admission in Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates must register on the UPTAC portal and upload 10+2 marksheets, JEE Main scorecard, domicile certificate, and caste certificate where applicable.

Admission Process

Candidates appeared in JEE Main 2026 held in January and April 2026. NTA declared Session 1 result on February 16, 2026, and Session 2 result on April 20, 2026.

UPTAC 2026 registration was open from May 25 to June 15, 2026, at uptac.samarth.edu.in. Registered candidates participated in four main allotment rounds from June 27 to July 11, 2026.

Candidates who received allotment in Rounds 1 to 4 completed physical reporting and fee payment at the allotted institution from July 14 to 16, 2026.

Special counselling rounds were conducted to fill remaining seats. Candidates may check the UPTAC portal for any further vacancy rounds.
