Placements are very good....Many big MNCs come for placement like WIPRO,KGMC,Deloitte etc. They pick the best of all students and many students gets placed in the procedure. This is a very good opportunity for the students to get placements straightaway after the college.
Yes college provides internships...general stipends are around 2000 per month but i didnt opt for any .
There is a placement committee of the college which helps students to get placements from the college.Companies that come to the campus are: Uber Each one teach one MAD NGO yes bank LFT SBI bank Ola And many more companies offer placement and job opportunities to all the students.
Ye the college provides internships.Companies like Uber provide internships. It's stipend is around 10,000 rupees.
Some of the companies that have been coming over the past years are with their average packages of: Mckinsey Knowledge Centre - 6 Lacs per annum, Capital IQ - INR 3.8 Lacs per annum, Hewitt - INR 4.2 Lacs per annum, Google - INR 4 Lacs per annum. Being a top college of DU almost all students are placed.
The college does not provide us with internships as it is bachelors. Though the teachers are helpful and recommend a few opportunities. Also, being a DU student you automatically open up to opportunities. There are certain companies who put out workshops to interact with students and provide them internship opportunities. In general internship stipend if u work with reputed companies you are paid around 1-2k per month with a certificate and a lot of experience.
The job opportunities in the college are awesome. Many big companies come to hire freshers with good package. even big 4 also come to hire students.
Yes, college provides internships to the students for some work experience. I have not taken the internship but the stipend is enough as per the internships.
Placement record of Venky is better than rest of the colleges of south campus with main recruiters like KPMG, Deloitte, EnY.
The collage also provide the jobs placement so the students doesn't face the problem and they can face the interviews and make them feel that how much improvement they need in there skills so they can also fit to the competitive environment of the world and they can change the bad habits.
Yes it provides internship. we also support this efforts of the collage to make the collage environment stress-less and transparent.
I do not know if there are any placement or job opportunities are being offered directly after graduation courses like B.Sc, B.com, B.A etc. The courses offered are not professional and hence there are no direct placements done. The collage has a very high reputation in all respects.
To my knowledge my college does not provide internship. I really do not know if my college is providing stipend currently. The stipend is also not being provided.
Some of the companies which came our time were. These were offered to bachelor students Mckinsey Knowledge Centre - 4 Lacs PACapital IQ - INR 2.8 LacsHewitt - INR 3 Lacs per annumGoogle - INR 3 Lacs per annumand the likes All figures are of during 2007, things must have changed now.
In bachelors typically we dont have internship offered by the college. Students can do it by themselves during summer break. Till our time there was no provision of internship, not sure if things have changed now.
The placement cell is very good. Companies such as Delloitte, HCL etc come for placements in our college with decent packages.
I interned in quite a few companies in the last one and a half year, though I didn't score them from my college. The general stipend is between Rs4500-5000.
Very few companies were that professionals to come up to campus to pick the deserving candidates those days. Few companies in the pharmacy sectors did visit to pick medical repersentatives.
In those days in graduation courses in humanity and commerce stream there was not such internship or stipend offered, may be those courses were getting aid from the UGC or trust.
