OmDayal Group of Institutions B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The B.Tech CSE programme at OmDayal Group of Institutions (OGI), Uluberia, Howrah, is a four-year full-time undergraduate degree affiliated to MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology) and approved by AICTE. The programme has an intake of 60 seats. Admission is through WBJEE or JEE Main scores followed by MAKAUT centralised counselling. Total fees for the programme are INR 4,60,000.

WBJEE 2026 was held on May 24, 2026; the result is expected on August 1, 2026. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results were declared on April 20, 2026. WBJEE counselling is expected after result declaration in August 2026.

OGI B.Tech CSE Fees

• Total institutional fees for the four-year B.Tech CSE programme are INR 4,60,000, inclusive of a refundable caution deposit of INR 5,000 returned at programme completion.
• Semester I fee is INR 66,250 (tuition + admission fee + library + activity fee + caution deposit); Semesters II to VIII are INR 56,250 each.
• MAKAUT university registration, development, and examination fees are charged separately by the university and are not included above.
• Hostel charges, if availed, are billed separately at INR 84,000 per year.

Important Dates

Entrance Exam Dates

• Admission to B.Tech CSE at OGI is through WBJEE or JEE Main scores. Candidates must register on the WBJEEB portal (wbjeeb.nic.in) for WBJEE counselling after results are announced.
• Seat allotment is through WBJEEB centralised counselling for both WBJEE and JEE Main qualified candidates. OGI also accepts applications through institute-level direct counselling.
• Documents required: Class X and XII mark sheets, WBJEE or JEE Main score card, domicile certificate, category certificate (if applicable), and passport-size photographs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class XII) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus any of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Computer Science, from a recognised board.
• A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per West Bengal government norms).
• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission.
• A valid rank in WBJEE or JEE Main is required for admission through centralised counselling.

Admission Process

• Appear for WBJEE 2026 (or JEE Main 2026) and obtain a valid rank/score.
• Register on the WBJEEB portal (wbjeeb.nic.in) for centralised counselling after WBJEE results are declared (expected August 1, 2026).
• Fill college-branch preferences during WBJEE counselling, selecting OGI with the B.Tech CSE branch, and participate in allotment rounds.
• Receive the WBJEE allotment letter and report to OGI, Uluberia, Howrah, for document verification with original certificates.
• Pay Semester I fees (INR 66,250) at the OGI accounts office to confirm admission and obtain the student identity card.

• West Bengal government scholarships (SVMCM, Aikyashree, OASIS) are applied for through their respective portals after admission; maintain prescribed attendance to continue receiving benefits.
