SKSASC: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 2 Reviews

The Bachelor of Biotechnology Honors degree at Somaiya offers a supportive and knowledgeable faculty, enhancing student learning and promoting active participation in extracurricular activities. However, the removal of genuine faculty members due to internal politics has been a concern, impacting the course’s perceived benefits. The program has a structured fee system, with the first-year fee being 1 lakh, the second year 1.08 lakh, and the third year 1.24 lakh.

There are scholarships available for students based on their academic performance. Additionally, students can gain admission through a donation route, with fees structured at 1.2 lakh, 1.3 lakh, and 1.5 lakh for each respective year. A management quota is also available for admissions. Despite these challenges, the course remains a viable option for students seeking a comprehensive education in biotechnology.
