Ans. The Certificate Course in Russian is a one-year part-time course. Classes are held on a part-time basis, allowing students to balance their studies with other commitments. The course typically runs from September to April/May when the annual examination is conducted.
Ques. Is this course recognized by the University of Delhi?
Ans. Yes, the course is fully recognized by the University of Delhi. Although Bharati College administers the course, the syllabus is prescribed by the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies, University of Delhi, and students take examinations prepared and administered by the University of Delhi. This ensures the certification is officially recognized.
Ques. What is the minimum attendance requirement for this course?
Ans. Students must maintain a minimum of 55% attendance throughout the course. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the student not being allowed to appear for the annual examination. The house examination in December is compulsory, and students who fail to appear must pay Rs. 1,000 per paper as a penalty.
