Ques. What is the total fee for B.Tech Lateral Electrical Engineering at PITM Allahabad?
Ans. The total fee for the 3-year B.Tech Lateral Entry in Electrical Engineering at PITM is INR 1,84,000 for the complete course. This covers three years of study from the second year through the fourth year of the B.Tech programme. SC/ST and OBC students with UP domicile may also be eligible for state scholarship reimbursement on top of this.
Ques. Which entrance exam is required for B.Tech Lateral Electrical at PITM?
Ans. Diploma holders in Electrical Engineering must qualify JEECUP (Group B), the UP Polytechnic entrance exam for lateral entry. BSc graduates with Mathematics at Class 12 may use their CUET-UG score. Seat allotment for both categories is done through UPTAC, the UP Technical Admission Counselling body, on the official UPTAC portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.

Ques. What is the minimum diploma percentage for B.Tech Lateral Electrical at PITM?
Ans. Candidates must have passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates from Uttar Pradesh) from a BTEUP-recognised polytechnic institution. There is no upper age restriction for this programme. Lateral entry is directly into the second year of the B.Tech Electrical Engineering programme.
