Ques. What is the minimum qualification required for Ph.D. (Veterinary Anatomy & Histology) admission?
Ans. Candidates must have an M.V.Sc. degree in Veterinary Anatomy & Histology or related field with minimum 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA from a recognized university. Reserved category candidates require 6.5 CGPA. Final year M.V.Sc. students can apply provisionally subject to degree completion before admission confirmation.
Ques. Is the entrance examination mandatory for Ph.D. admission?
Ans. Yes, all candidates must appear for the MAFSU entrance examination. The entrance exam tests subject knowledge and research aptitude. Ans. The minimum duration is 3 years of full-time research, though the program can extend up to 4 years depending on research progress. Candidates may take up to 5-6 years to complete their doctoral thesis depending on research progress and university regulations. Extensions are granted on a case-by-case basis with supervisor and department approval.
