Joining ECE at a tier 2 college — need honest insights
Hey Seniore I'm about to join ECE at a tier 2 college (VITV/Manipal Main Campus). I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff around the branch lately stuff like no core jobs, pivoting to IT is impossible, etc. I'm not here to complain or cry, just want to know if that's genuinely the case even if someone puts in the work. is it a good or dead branch Would love to hear from people who've been through it both good and bad. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, ECE is actually a circuital branch and it's good , usually it is taken by the ppl who are actually interested in it , and the upcoming industries like NVIDIA, AMD etc all these chip manufacturing companies and EV is also in boom so yeah electrical engineers are needed , js need to look for the right guidance , and work quite well , you can look upto VLSI in ECE , it's kinda promising. (One of my friend is also pursuing it and yeah it has scope js work in the right direction)
