So one of my school friends recently got into DTU Software Engineering — through the OBC category. Not gonna lie, I checked the cutoffs just out of curiosity, and if he was in general category, he wouldn’t even get Biotech in the last round. Anyway, the main thing is — I saw his story on Instagram (something college-related), and I just replied casually, like — “bro how’s it going?” or something basic like that. His reply? Just a middle finger emoji. I was like… what the hell? Now days, He wont even reply on WhatsApp or something We used to be really close in class 11 and 12. Studied together, shared notes, stressed over JEE, and helped each other out. Now suddenly he gets into a good college and acts like he's some big shot. For what? A normal reply on a story? I don’t care about the seat. He got in — good for him. I’m not salty about the reservation either. Everyone plays with the cards they’re dealt. But this weird ego and attitude just because you got into DTU?
