KEDGE Business School admissions are competitive across the Bordeaux and Marseille intakes, with Indian applicants admitted into bachelor’s tracks from Class XII at around 65% and into master’s tracks from a recognised three- or four-year Bachelor’s degree.

  • The primary September 2026 (Fall) intake closes for non-EU master’s applicants on 31 July 2026.
  • MSc base tuition starts at €16,100 (around INR 17.23 Lakhs) per year, with a €120 (around INR 12,845) application fee.
  • International BBA needs Class XII plus IELTS 5.5; MSc tracks need a three- or four-year Bachelor’s plus IELTS 6.0 short track.
  • KEDGE is highly selective, with an estimated around 6% acceptance rate across flagship Grande Ecole and MSc seats.

Popular routes for Indian students include the Master in Management Grande Ecole, MSc International Business, and MSc Global Supply Chain Management. Triple-Crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) and English-taught delivery on Bordeaux and Marseille make KEDGE Business School a steady pick for Indian applicants planning French higher education.

KEDGE Business School’s primary intake for Indian students is September (Fall 2026) — most master’s and bachelor’s programmes open here.

KEDGE Business School Eligibility for Indian Applicants

KEDGE Business School IELTS Waiver for Indian Students:

KEDGE allows an English-test waiver where the applicant has completed at least one year of higher education taught fully in English, or has one or more years of professional experience in an English-speaking environment. Indian applicants from English-medium undergraduate programmes can request this waiver with a letter from the registrar confirming the medium of instruction and the year duration. The waiver is reviewed case by case, so plan to sit IELTS or TOEFL as a backup.

KEDGE Business School PG Programmes for Indian Students

KEDGE Business School offers two flagship postgraduate tracks alongside more than a dozen specialised MSc programmes, all taught in English on Bordeaux and Marseille campuses. The table below lists the master’s tracks most chosen by Indian applicants, with duration, minimum eligibility, and English floor sourced from each programme’s KEDGE page.

Base PG tuition starts at €16,100 (around INR 17.23 Lakhs) per year for the Grande Ecole track and rises to €22,500 (around INR 24.08 Lakhs) for the Arts and Creative Industries MSc. Full course-wise costs are available on the course-wise fees breakdown page.

Programme Duration Minimum Eligibility English Req. Min.

The Long Track is a one-year English pathway course (€9,700 or around INR 10.38 Lakhs) for applicants with a three-year Bachelor’s, followed by the one-year MSc. Indian applicants from three-year Bachelor’s programmes (B.Com, BA, BSc) most often enter through this route.

Insider note: The MSc International Business and Global Supply Chain Management (ISLI) tracks see the largest Indian cohorts, with strong placement pipelines into Decathlon, Capgemini, and L’Oreal France.

Note: Programme-specific entry requirements, fees, and intake availability may differ from the institution-wide minimums shown above. Always confirm on the official KEDGE Business School page for your chosen programme before applying.

KEDGE Business School UG Programmes for Indian Students

KEDGE Business School offers two main undergraduate routes for international students: the four-year International BBA on the Marseille campus and a three-year entry pathway for those with two years of prior higher education. Indian Class XII pass-outs enter through Year 1.

Base UG tuition is €11,200 (around INR 11.99 Lakhs) per year for the International BBA.

Programme Duration Minimum Eligibility English Req. Min.
International BBA (Year 1 entry) 4 years Class XII pass at around 60 to 65%, with English as a subject IELTS 5.5 / PTE 36 / Duolingo 95
International BBA (Year 3 entry) 2 years 2 years of completed higher education (Bac+2) IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 74 / TOEIC 660

To collect the IBBA diploma at the end of Year 4, students must clear IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 79 / TOEIC 785). Indian applicants from CBSE, ICSE, or state boards in English-medium schools meet the eligibility floor with their Class XII mark sheet.

KEDGE Business School MBA Admissions for Indian Applicants

KEDGE Business School runs its English-taught International MBA on a rolling basis, with selection ending once the cohort is full. There is no GMAT or GRE requirement, but Indian applicants applying without strong English credentials are advised to submit GMAT scores to strengthen the file.

  • Tuition: €30,000 (around INR 32.11 Lakhs) total, single payment or six instalments from January.
  • Work experience: Minimum three years post-Bachelor’s, full-time.
  • English minimum: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 85, or TOEIC 780.
  • Application fee: €120 (around INR 12,845), paid on the join.kedge.edu portal.
  • Interview: Motivational interview with the MBA director by Teams or in person.
  • Next intake: January 2027, with rolling admissions through the year.

Applicants with at least two years in an English-speaking professional environment may request an English-test waiver. The motivational interview is scheduled within one week of a complete submission. Shortlisting is based on file plus interview, with decisions in four to six weeks.

Insider note: The Early Bird window for the January 2027 MBA intake closes 30 June 2026 with a tuition discount. Indian applicants targeting January should secure GMAT and IELTS before that date to capture the discount and the deposit grace period.

KEDGE Business School PhD Admissions and Funding

KEDGE Business School recruits up to two doctoral candidates per research centre each year, across five centres covering Marketing, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Food and Wine, and International Business. The annual application window closes 1 February for an entry in September of the same year or January of the next.

  • Eligibility: Master’s degree, with research-relevant experience considered case by case.
  • Funding: Tuition waiver plus monthly stipend of around €2,100 (around INR 2.25 Lakhs) gross per month, for up to four years.
  • Commitment: 50% doctoral research, 50% teaching or research support.
  • Next deadline: 1 February 2027, for September 2027 or January 2028 entry.
  • Application: Email research proposal and CV to phd.recruitment@kedgebs.com.

Indian applicants from M.Tech, MBA, or MSc backgrounds with publications or research assistantships fit the typical accepted profile. The PhD is fully funded, so further scholarship layering is rare. The supervisor’s fit to your proposed topic is the strongest selection factor at the file stage.

KEDGE Business School Application Process for Indian Students

KEDGE Business School uses one online portal, join.kedge.edu, for every degree intake. Indian applicants should plan eight to ten weeks for application review, plus a further four to six weeks for Campus France registration and the VLS-TS visa. Follow each step in order.

  1. Create your account on the join.kedge.edu portal and select your programme and intake.
  2. Upload academic transcripts, English-test score report, CV, motivation letter, and passport scan.
  3. Pay the application fee of €120 (around INR 12,845) on the join.kedge.edu portal by credit card.
  4. Attend a motivation interview, by Teams or in person, scheduled by the programme director.
  5. Receive an admission decision typically within four to six weeks of a complete submission.
  6. Pay your tuition deposit to accept the offer, then begin Campus France registration for the VLS-TS visa.

The motivation interview is the decisive step for MSc and MBA tracks. KEDGE values clarity on why you chose the specific programme over Indian or competing European options. Indian applicants who can tie their Bachelor’s coursework or work experience to the MSc specialisation typically clear this stage.

KEDGE Business School Documents Required

The list below covers the paperwork Indian applicants upload to the join.kedge.edu portal. Academic transcripts and degree certificates must be certified English translations if originally issued in Hindi or any regional language. Plan two weeks to gather and notarise the full set.

  • Scanned colour copy of the bio-data page of your passport, valid for at least 18 months.
  • Class X, Class XII, and Bachelor’s mark sheets and certificates, with notarised English translation if required.
  • English-language test score report (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, TOEIC, Duolingo, PTE, or Cambridge). Check exams to study in France
  • Updated CV or resume in English, one to two pages.
  • Motivation letter or statement of purpose, programme-specific, around 500 words.
  • Two letters of recommendation, one academic and one professional where possible.
  • Work-experience certificates (mandatory for the International MBA, optional for MSc).
  • Recent passport-size photograph in JPEG.
  • GMAT or GRE score report (optional but strongly advised for MSc Finance and MBA).
  • Financial proof of around €7,380 (around INR 7.90 Lakhs) per year for the visa file, requested after admission.

Once the offer letter is issued, the financial proof is added to the visa file separately. KEDGE does not ask for bank statements at the admissions stage.

KEDGE Business School Acceptance Rate for Indian Students

KEDGE Business School does not publish an official institutional acceptance rate. Public estimates put it at around 6% across the flagship Master in Management Grande Ecole and the leading MSc seats, based on competitive Grande Ecole intake patterns. Specialised MSc and the International BBA are noticeably less selective than the Grande Ecole route.

How Selective Is KEDGE Business School for Indian Students?

The Grande Ecole intake is filtered first by file, then by interview, with strong weight on the motivation letter and English fluency. Indian applicants with a four-year engineering degree plus IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 sit comfortably above the published floor and clear the file stage with regularity. The specialised MSc tracks (Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics) sit closer to a 25 to 35% estimate.

How to Strengthen Your KEDGE Application?

Lift your file above the floor in three places: an above-floor English score, a programme-specific motivation letter that names the KEDGE faculty or research centre you target, and one quantified achievement on your CV. KEDGE sits in a strong ranking band for Management in France (top 10), so the bar at interview is on fit rather than novelty.

Insider note: Indian applicants from Tier 1 IITs and NITs, or with one to two years of CA, consulting, or analytics experience, have a noticeably higher acceptance rate on flagship tracks than the institutional estimate.

France Student Visa for KEDGE Business School Applicants

Indian students admitted to KEDGE Business School apply for the long-stay student visa, the VLS-TS (visa long sejour valant titre de sejour etudiant). The visa serves as both an entry visa and a residence permit for up to one year, renewable on French soil. Indian applicants must clear two steps: Campus France academic validation and the VFS visa appointment.

Begin by registering on india.campusfrance.org, paying the Campus France fee, and attending the academic interview within three weeks. Once cleared, create an account on france-visas.gouv.fr, upload your KEDGE admission letter and financial proof of €615 (around INR 65,830) per month for the academic year, and book a biometric appointment at VFS Global. Apply at least eight weeks before your KEDGE programme start date.

After arrival, you must validate the VLS-TS online within three months at administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr. The visa permits part-time work of up to 964 hours per academic year, or around 20 hours per week.

2026 update: Campus France interview slots for the September 2026 intake fill from mid-June. Book your slot the same week your KEDGE offer letter lands to keep the VFS appointment in mid-July.

Tips for KEDGE Business School Admissions

The following tips are drawn from Indian-applicant patterns at KEDGE Business School over recent intakes. They are calibrated to the Fall 2026 cycle and the rolling MBA and BBA windows.

  • Submit your MSc application by mid-April 2026 to clear the non-EU window with margin for the Campus France interview.
  • Sit IELTS Academic in January 2026 to lock in the 6.0 short-track floor before the rush.
  • Use the Early Bird 10% tuition discount window closing 30 November 2026 for the September 2027 intake.
  • Indian engineers and CS graduates fit MSc Data Analytics and MSc Global Supply Chain (ISLI) strongly.
  • Submit a GMAT score even where optional, especially for MSc Finance and the MBA. It helps at the 6% band.
  • Book your Campus France interview within seven days of receiving the KEDGE offer letter.
  • Choose Bordeaux or Marseille based on internship target sector, not on lifestyle preference alone.

Scholarship

  • In fact, there were scholarships available for the course, but I cannot recall their specific names or full requirements. However, some of my classmates received financial assistance or partial scholarships, mainly because of their outstanding profiles, early submission of their applications, or top performance in school.
  • There were variations in the number of beneficiaries and the amount of rewards each year. In my case, I did not receive any scholarship for the course.

Scholarship

  • Yes, I received scholarships named early bird and the Erasmus scholarship.
  • The criteria for the selection are our past academic records (HSC, bachelor's, French language). The waiver on the fees was 900 euros for early birds and 900 euros for Erasmus.
  • I don't know if any of my friends applied for this scholarship. Neither has any idea about the student who receives this scholarship.

Scholarship

  • No, unfortunately I had no scholarship available for me. But I think there are a few government based scholarships in france that you can apply for, although the chances would be very slim.
  • One can look for Erasmus+ scholarship and you can also visit campus france offices in India for more information.
  • I had no one in my batch who had a scholarship. I think the other universities would have better scope of achieving scholarships to waive off tuition fees.

Scholarship

  • Yes, there are scholarships but depending on each student's academics and experience. And also an early bird offer of 1% reduction in fees.
  • I am not aware of how many students receive but a few of my batchmates said they recieved a scholarship too.
  • Mine was 2000€ a merit scholarship , my batchmates some of them got a bit more as well.
  • There is also Bourse:
  • The KEDGE Scholarship is a social scholarship.
  • The scholarship is therefore paid to students in precarious situations: applications are analysed on the basis of household income (family income), then ranked in order of priority. This ranking allows the KEDGE grant to be paid out until the allocated budget is exhausted.
