University of Freiburg fees for Indian students are €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) per semester tuition plus €190 (INR 20,680) semester contribution, applied identically to Bachelor’s and Master’s. The most popular Master’s programmes for Indian students at Freiburg are MSc Computer Science, MSc Embedded Systems Engineering, and MSc Economics.

The Winter Semester 2027/28 (October 2027) is your realistic entry, given 6-12 week German student-visa processing timelines. The one key decision this cycle is the DAAD Study Scholarship for Foreign Graduates, which closes 31 October 2026 for most Master’s tracks starting October 2027.

  • Non-EU tuition (Bachelor’s or Master’s): €1,500 per semester (INR 1.63 Lakhs)
  • Mandatory semester contribution: €190 per semester (INR 20,680)
  • Full annual cost of tuition plus semester contribution: €3,380 (INR 3.68 Lakhs)
  • Two-year Master’s total tuition + semester fees: €6,760 (INR 7.36 Lakhs)
  • Blocked account required for German student visa (2026 rate): €11,904 (INR 12.96 Lakhs)
  • Deutschlandstipendium institutional award: €3,600 per year (INR 3.92 Lakhs)

A two-year Master’s at Freiburg costs Indian students roughly INR 30.95 Lakhs total including living, one-third of a comparable UK Russell Group programme at similar QS rank.

All INR figures below use 1 EUR = INR 108.84.

Winter Semester 2027/28 Intake: The Planning Window

Intake: Winter Semester 2027/28 (October 2027 start) is your realistic entry. Most Master’s application windows open December 2026 and close between 15 May and 15 July 2027 depending on programme. Summer Semester 2028 (April 2028) is a secondary intake open only for select Master’s programmes.

Fee update: The 2026/27 rate of €1,500 tuition + €190 semester contribution (€1,690 or INR 1.84 Lakhs per semester) is fixed by Baden-Württemberg state law and has held flat since 2017. The Winter 2027/28 intake will almost certainly be billed at the same rate.

When to pay: The €1,690 (INR 1.84 Lakhs) first-semester payment is due at matriculation between 1 June and 15 August 2027 for the October 2027 intake. Full instalment mechanics, payment methods, and step-by-step remittance are in the Tuition Deposit and Payment Options section.

Scholarships: The DAAD Study Scholarship for Foreign Graduates closes 31 October 2026 for most Master’s tracks starting October 2027, roughly 13 weeks away. Inlaks Shivdasani opens December 2026 and closes 15 March 2027; KC Mahindra closes 31 March 2027.

Non-EU international students pay a uniform €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) per semester in tuition at the University of Freiburg, set by Section 4 of the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Fees Act (Landeshochschulgebührengesetz). The rate applies identically to every Bachelor’s, Master’s, and state-examination programme, plus a mandatory €190 (INR 20,680) semester contribution split across Studierendenwerk (€103), administration (€80), and student union (€7).

University of Freiburg Bachelor’s Programme Fees for Indian Students

Bachelor’s degrees at Freiburg run 6 semesters (3 years). Non-EU international students pay the identical €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) per semester tuition regardless of subject. Most Bachelor’s programmes are taught in German and require a C1 language certificate (TestDaF, DSH, or Goethe-Zertifikat C1).

Note: Freiburg charges no application fee and no acceptance deposit to secure your admission offer. A 4-semester Master’s therefore costs only €6,760 (INR 7.36 Lakhs) in total tuition and semester contributions, one of the lowest published rates at any QS Top-250 university globally. Students holding a second German degree pay a reduced €650 per semester (INR 70,746) tuition instead of €1,500.

University of Freiburg Fee Trend by Year

The University of Freiburg has not raised international tuition once since it began charging non-EU students in Winter Semester 2017/18. Every Indian student enrolled in the nine academic years since has paid the same €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) per semester. There is no meaningful year-over-year fee trend to report because the state-law cap has held the rate flat.

Fee Milestone Details
Fee introduced Winter Semester 2017/18 at €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) per semester for non-EU students
Statutory basis Baden-Württemberg Landeshochschulgebührengesetz, Section 4 (state law, not university discretion)
Cumulative tuition increase 2017 to 2026 0.0% (rate frozen at €1,500 for nine consecutive academic years)
Current rate (2026/27, in force) €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) tuition + €190 (INR 20,680) semester contribution per semester
Winter 2027/28 projected rate €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) per semester (no legislative amendment tabled)

Stability matters for two-year Master’s budgeting. A Freiburg MSc student enrolled in Winter 2027/28 pays €1,500 in October 2027, €1,500 in April 2028, €1,500 in October 2028, and €1,500 in April 2029, four instalments at the identical rate. A UK Master’s at £24,000 per year with typical 4% annual fee inflation costs roughly £600 more in Year 2 than in Year 1 for the same seat.

Key Insight: Budget your full 2-year Master’s at the current €6,760 (INR 7.36 Lakhs) in tuition and semester contributions with high confidence. The Winter 2027/28 intake and the Summer 2028 intake after it are both billed at the same statutory €1,500 per semester. Any change would require a Baden-Württemberg state-legislature amendment, and none has been introduced.

Cost of Living in Freiburg for University of Freiburg Indian Students

Monthly living costs in Freiburg range from €850 to €950 (INR 92,514 to INR 1.03 Lakhs) for an average international student, per the University of Freiburg’s own MSc Environmental Governance guidance. Freiburg is a mid-sized university city of 230,000, cheaper than Munich or Frankfurt but slightly above Leipzig or Halle on rent.

Expense Category Monthly (EUR) Monthly (INR) Annual (INR) Notes for Indian Students

Source: University of Freiburg’s MSc Environmental Governance cost-of-living guidance and Numbeo Freiburg cost of living, July 2026.

Note: The €190 semester contribution already includes a Semester Ticket for the RVF regional transport network. Tram, bus, and regional-train travel within Freiburg and to nearby towns is free for enrolled students. Do not pay separately for a monthly transit pass, and factor the ticket in when comparing Freiburg with cities where transport costs €70+ monthly.

Freiburg is one of Germany’s sunniest cities and its student housing market tightens sharply in October, when the winter semester begins. Dorm placements at Studierendenwerk Freiburg typically fill 4-6 months before term start. Applying through the Studierendenwerk portal the same week you accept your admission offer is the single most cost-effective housing decision available, saving up to €200 monthly versus a private WG.

Currency Tip: Your blocked account of €11,904 (INR 12.96 Lakhs) must be funded before your Winter 2027/28 visa appointment. Lock the EUR-INR rate the week you receive your admission offer, transferring via a Fintiba or Expatrio blocked account under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS). Informal remittance channels typically carry a 2-3% additional spread that adds INR 30,000-40,000 to the same €11,904 deposit.

Total Cost of Studying at University of Freiburg

The full first-year budget for an Indian student at the University of Freiburg lands around €14,255 (INR 15.51 Lakhs) for a Master’s, or €12,455 (INR 13.56 Lakhs) for a Bachelor’s. A two-year Master’s totals roughly €28,435 (INR 30.95 Lakhs); a three-year Bachelor’s, €37,215 (INR 40.50 Lakhs). Every figure is computed from the stated exchange rate and includes tuition, semester fees, living costs, and the one-time student visa fee.

(INR 13.56 / 40.50 Lakhs)
€14,255 / €28,435
(INR 15.51 / 30.95 Lakhs)

Living-cost basis: 10 months for undergraduates who return home each summer; 12 months for postgraduates who typically continue coursework, research assistantships, or thesis year-round. The €11,904 (INR 12.96 Lakhs) blocked account is a refundable visa requirement, not a spent cost.

The two-year Master’s total of €28,435 (INR 30.95 Lakhs) is roughly one-third of the equivalent programme at a UK Russell Group university and one-quarter of a US public flagship. Even accounting for the €11,904 blocked account, Freiburg remains the cheapest QS Top-250 destination available to Indian students outside India itself.

Key Insight: An Indian family financing a Winter 2027/28 Freiburg Master’s needs about INR 15.51 Lakhs upfront (Year 1) plus INR 12.96 Lakhs blocked (released back as €992 monthly stipend). A student loan of INR 15 Lakhs at 10.5% for 10 years works out to an EMI of roughly INR 20,200 per month, easily served by a €4,000 monthly German entry-level engineer salary once the Job Seeker Visa converts to an EU Blue Card.

University of Freiburg Scholarships for Indian Students

Freiburg does not run a large merit scholarship for incoming international students, since its €1,500 per semester tuition is already deeply state-subsidised. Indian students fund the €30.95 Lakh two-year Master’s mainly through the DAAD Study Scholarship for Foreign Graduates and external Indian awards (Inlaks, KC Mahindra, JN Tata Endowment). The one recurring institutional award is the Deutschlandstipendium, worth €300 monthly (€3,600 annually, INR 3.92 Lakhs), open to top-quartile enrolled students of any nationality and applied for after matriculation via your faculty.

University of Freiburg Tuition Deposit and Payment Options

The University of Freiburg does not charge a deposit or advance payment to accept an admission offer. Your €1,500 (INR 1.63 Lakhs) tuition and €190 (INR 20,680) semester contribution are paid together at matriculation, not before. There is no equivalent of a UK CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) deposit or a US enrolment deposit.

Payment falls due within a fixed window each semester:

  • Winter Semester (October start): Between 1 June and 15 August of the same year
  • Summer Semester (April start): Between 15 January and 15 February of the same year

Methods to Pay University of Freiburg Fees

Freiburg accepts three payment routes for the €1,690 (INR 1.84 Lakhs) semester total:

  • International bank transfer (SWIFT from India, SEPA within EU) to the University’s Landesoberkasse account, quoting your matriculation number in the reference field (allow 5-10 business days from India via a standard bank; 2-3 days via Wise or a specialised remittance provider)
  • Girocard payment at the Registration Office during business hours (Monday-Thursday), once you are physically in Freiburg with a German bank account
  • Education loan disbursement from an Indian NBFC (Avanse, Auxilo, HDFC Credila, InCred) or public bank, sent direct to the University’s Landesoberkasse account under LRS

Credit cards and cash are not accepted. Freiburg does not partner with Flywire or Convera, so all remittances go direct to a German public-treasury account in EUR.

Steps to Pay Tuition Fee at University of Freiburg for International Students

  1. Accept your admission offer via the campus.uni-freiburg.de portal within the deadline stated in your admission letter
  2. Complete online enrolment and receive your matriculation number plus the exact payment reference string
  3. Transfer €1,690 (INR 1.84 Lakhs) from an Indian bank under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme to the Landesoberkasse account, quoting your matriculation number in the message field
  4. Retain the SWIFT confirmation and Indian bank remittance certificate for the student-visa file and for Section 80E income-tax records if you funded via loan
  5. Repeat the payment every semester by 15 August (winter) or 15 February (summer); no reminder is sent, and a missed deadline blocks re-registration

Once the semester begins, the €1,500 tuition is non-refundable. Semester-contribution refunds are pro-rated only if you de-register within the first four weeks of teaching.

Source: uni-freiburg.de semester fees and tuition payment.

Tip for Indian Students: Your first payment for the Winter 2027/28 intake is due by 15 August 2027. Initiate the €1,690 (INR 1.84 Lakhs) SWIFT transfer from India by 25 July 2027 to allow 5-10 business days for settlement, or 3 days if you route via Wise. Missing the 15 August 2027 deadline blocks matriculation and voids your admission offer.

Hidden Costs of Studying at University of Freiburg

Beyond tuition and rent, Indian students should budget around INR 3-4 Lakhs in first-year one-off costs at the University of Freiburg. The single largest hidden item is the German blocked account, which locks INR 12.96 Lakhs of family capital for 12 months even though the money is fully refundable as monthly stipend.

  • Blocked account (Sperrkonto): €11,904 (INR 12.96 Lakhs) deposited before your visa appointment, released back to you as €992 (INR 1.08 Lakhs) monthly stipend across your first 12 months in Germany
  • German student visa fee: €75 (INR 8,163) at the Consulate in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, or Kolkata
  • Health insurance activation: €120-€130 (INR 13,061-14,149) monthly, first month payable before enrolment
  • Anmeldung (city registration): Free but must be completed at the Bürgeramt within 14 days of arrival; missing it delays the residence permit
  • Residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel): €100-€110 (INR 10,884-11,973) at the Freiburg Ausländerbehörde within 90 days of arrival
  • Setup costs (bedding, kitchenware, winter clothing): €400-€600 (INR 43,536-65,304) in month one, since Freiburg winters run to -5°C
  • APS certificate from the Academic Evaluation Centre at the German Embassy: USD 250 (approximately INR 21,700), mandatory for all Indian applicants to German universities since November 2022
  • IELTS or TestDaF retake reserve: INR 17,000 (IELTS) or €195 (INR 21,224) for TestDaF, if a first attempt underscores
  • Bank transfer charges on tuition remittance: INR 1,500-3,000 per semester via a standard bank; roughly zero via Wise if under the LRS €50,000 annual limit

Total first-year hidden costs typically land between INR 3.20 Lakhs and INR 4.10 Lakhs, mostly front-loaded in the first 90 days after arrival.

Note: The Sperrkonto is the item Indian families most frequently underestimate. The €11,904 (INR 12.96 Lakhs) is refunded to you monthly as €992 living stipend across the first 12 months in Germany, but it must sit in a Fintiba, Expatrio, Coracle, or Deutsche Bank blocked account before your visa appointment. Fintiba and Expatrio process online in 2-3 business days; Deutsche Bank takes 4-6 weeks and is best avoided if you are inside a tight visa window.

Fee Saving Strategies for University of Freiburg Indian Students

The highest-value saving lever for the Winter 2027/28 intake is the DAAD Study Scholarship, which if won covers your entire €30.95 Lakh two-year Master’s (tuition, monthly stipend, health, travel). Submitting that file before the 31 October 2026 deadline is the single most consequential action available in the next 13 weeks.

  • Live in Studierendenwerk dormitories (€280-€320) instead of a private WG room (€400-€600), saving €150-€250 monthly or roughly INR 4-6 Lakhs across a two-year Master’s
  • Work as a Werkstudent (student worker) up to 20 hours per week: German law permits 120 full days or 240 half days per year; Werkstudent hourly rates of €13-€15 earn €700-€1,000 (INR 76,188 to INR 1.09 Lakhs) monthly, enough to cover Freiburg’s typical €900 monthly living costs entirely
  • Claim Section 80E on Indian education-loan interest: full interest paid on a foreign-study loan is deductible from taxable income for up to 8 years with no upper cap; for a typical INR 15 Lakh loan at 10.5% for 10 years (EMI roughly INR 20,200 per month), the 80E deduction can exceed INR 8 Lakhs across the deductible window
  • Use the Semester Ticket for free regional travel: the €190 semester contribution already includes unlimited RVF regional transport, so day trips to Basel, Strasbourg, and the Black Forest add zero cost above the mandatory fee
  • Extend to the EU Blue Card after graduation: Freiburg Master’s graduates in STEM earning €45,300 or above annually (INR 49.30 Lakhs) qualify for the EU Blue Card immediately post-graduation, which converts to permanent residency after 21 months with B1 German, cutting the effective cost of the degree over a 10-year career horizon

Tip for Indian Students: The DAAD Study Scholarship for October 2027 entry closes 31 October 2026. Winning it converts your INR 30.95 Lakh Master’s into a near-zero net cost (stipend, tuition, and health together worth roughly INR 24 Lakhs across two years). One well-prepared DAAD file in the next 13 weeks is worth more in saved capital than every other cost-saving measure in this article combined.

Is University of Freiburg Worth the Cost for Indian Students

Yes, by a wider margin than almost any Western university at its rank. A two-year Freiburg Master’s at INR 30.95 Lakhs total sits at roughly one-third the cost of a UK Russell Group Master’s (INR 90 Lakhs and up) and one-quarter of a US public flagship (INR 1.20 Crore and up), while Freiburg holds a QS World Rank of 245 (2027) and a THE World Rank of 138 (2026), comparable in outcome to Newcastle, Southampton, or Purdue.

For Indian STEM Master’s graduates specifically, the return path is unusually clean. Germany’s 18-month Job Seeker Visa converts to an EU Blue Card at a €45,300 (INR 49.30 Lakhs) STEM salary threshold. A Freiburg MSc Computer Science, MSc Embedded Systems Engineering, or MSc Economics graduate typically clears that threshold in Year 1 of employment, so the full two-year degree cost recovers inside 12 months of first job.

Research reputation gives the degree a strong signal beyond price. Freiburg ranks 5th in Germany on ARWU Shanghai 2025 (band 101-150 globally) and 10th in Germany on THE World 2026. Its Life Sciences (THE global 82), Law (THE global 78), and Robotic Science and Engineering (ARWU GRAS global 38) subject rankings sit meaningfully above the university-wide average, which matters to Indian technical recruiters and to European PhD admissions committees.

Financing math is straightforward. An INR 15 Lakh education loan at 10.5% for 10 years yields an EMI of roughly INR 20,200 per month. A €4,000 monthly German entry-level engineer salary (INR 4.35 Lakhs) covers that EMI more than 20 times over even after German income tax. Payback on any reasonable Freiburg loan sits inside 18-24 months of first employment.

Key Insight: For a Winter 2027/28 intake, the numbers that make Freiburg a sound financial choice are: INR 30.95 Lakhs total two-year Master’s cost, a Blue Card STEM salary threshold recoverable in Year 1 of employment, and a QS 245 credential recognised across the European Union. A single external scholarship (DAAD, Inlaks, KC Mahindra, or JN Tata) collapses the net cost to under INR 12 Lakhs.

An Indian student targeting the Winter Semester 2027/28 intake at the University of Freiburg should budget INR 30.95 Lakhs total for a two-year Master’s, including the state-fixed €1,500 per semester tuition and €900 monthly living costs in Freiburg. Prioritise the DAAD Study Scholarship application before the 31 October 2026 deadline; if unsuccessful, an INR 15 Lakh education loan (EMI roughly INR 20,200 per month over 10 years) covers the residual comfortably, and is easily served by a €4,000 monthly German entry-level engineer salary post-graduation. Freiburg remains the single most cost-efficient QS Top-250 destination for Indian students, with tuition frozen at €1,500 by state law for the ninth consecutive year and no legislative move to raise it for the Winter 2027/28 intake.

Ques. How much does the blocked account for Germany cost for the Winter 2027/28 intake?

Ans. €11,904 (INR 12.96 Lakhs) for the 2026 rate, released back to you as €992 (INR 1.08 Lakhs) monthly stipend across your first 12 months in Germany. The blocked account is a refundable visa requirement, not a spent cost. Fintiba and Expatrio process online in 2-3 business days.

Ques. Which scholarships are available for Indian students at the University of Freiburg for Winter 2027/28 entry?

Ans. The DAAD Study Scholarship (deadline 31 October 2026, covers tuition + €934 monthly stipend + travel + health insurance), Inlaks Shivdasani (up to USD 100,000, deadline 15 March 2027), KC Mahindra (INR 10 Lakhs, deadline 31 March 2027), and JN Tata Endowment (up to INR 7.50 Lakh gift plus loan, deadline late March 2027). Freiburg itself offers the Deutschlandstipendium (€3,600 annually, INR 3.92 Lakhs) once enrolled.

Ques. How does a Freiburg Master’s cost compare to a UK or US Master’s for Indian students?

Ans. A two-year Freiburg Master’s costs about INR 30.95 Lakhs total. A comparable one-year UK Russell Group Master’s costs INR 45-60 Lakhs. A two-year US public flagship Master’s costs INR 90 Lakhs to INR 1.20 Crore. Freiburg is roughly one-third to one-quarter of these alternatives at similar QS ranking.

Ques. Can Indian students work part-time while studying at the University of Freiburg?

Ans. Yes. German law permits 120 full days or 240 half days of paid work per year on a student visa. Werkstudent roles pay €13-€15 per hour, earning €700-€1,000 (INR 76,188 to INR 1.09 Lakhs) monthly, enough to cover Freiburg’s typical €900 monthly living costs entirely without touching family funds or the blocked account.

Ques. What is the EMI on an education loan for a University of Freiburg Master’s degree?

Ans. An INR 15 Lakh loan at 10.5% interest over 10 years yields an EMI of approximately INR 20,200 per month. An INR 20 Lakh loan works out to roughly INR 26,930 per month. A German entry-level engineer salary of €4,000 monthly (INR 4.35 Lakhs) covers both tiers comfortably after German income tax.

Ques. What is the payment deadline for the Winter 2027/28 semester at the University of Freiburg?

Ans. The €1,690 (INR 1.84 Lakhs) first-semester payment is due between 1 June and 15 August 2027 for a Winter 2027/28 (October 2027) start. Initiate the SWIFT transfer from India by 25 July 2027 to allow 5-10 business days for settlement. Missing the 15 August 2027 deadline blocks matriculation and voids your admission offer.

Course Curriculum

  • The course syllabus is quite updated and wide. It focuses more on research experience, but some lab courses and practicals will help you gain insight into the industrial exposure.
  • It is difficult to say about the number of classes per day, which depends on what courses you select and can vary from person to person. The same case applies to the average number of students as well. Anyone from any semester can take any classes, so there is no way to define this.

Fees

  • The tuition fee is 1500 for international students, as this is the rule in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg.

  • Curriculum and examinations are a mix of theory, practical, and assignment-based
  • The university library stands out among other things
  • Classes scheduled are very minimal and spaced out across the day
  • Each batch has a diverse group of students

Fees

  • 1500 euros per semester plus other miscellaneous charges
  • Semester-wise fees charged
  • Shared student dorm takes about 350€, other things like a city pass and food can add the total to about 600€

Course Curriculum

  • The difficulty level of the curriculum was pretty high since everything was research-based and something that you wouldn't get on Google. You would have to read 100s of research papers to finish one module and create presentations or write a research paper of your own to finish the module and get grades accordingly.
  • The positive aspects would be research-oriented classes and getting to know about the module on a more practical basis, rather than just studying theories. Each course had a timeline of 14 days, so every day there would be classes from 10-5. The only negative aspect would be dealing with assignments every other day and dealing with PPTs and practical classes every day.
  • The average number for a class would vary from course to course. My course had around 30 students.
  • In my course, there were 2 Indian students.

Fees

  • The total fees semester-wise were 1650 euros (has increased now). Barring this, there were hostel fees, which were an average of 400 euros per month. There were 150 euros for food and 100 more for miscellaneous expenses.
  • The fees at the college are charged semester-wise
  • An estimate for monthly expenses is 850-900 euros. You have to create a blocked amount of 10,000 euros before getting the visa.

  • Online platforms : I primarily used websites like WG-Gesucht.de, Studierendenwerk Freiburg (official student service), and Immobilienscout24. I have joined several Facebook groups like "WG Zimmer in Freiburg" and "Freiburg Housing/Accommodation", where people post available rooms. I also checked local WhatsApp groups and notice groups around the university and student cafes, which sometimes have postings for available rooms or roommates.
  • Challenges Faced : There is a huge demand for housing, especially before the semester starts. Places get taken really quickly, and landlords often get 30-40 applications per room. Many listings are in German, and some landlords prefer German-speaking tenants. The Studierendenwerk housing is affordable but limited, so I ended up on a waiting list.
  • Recommendations: Begin house search at least 2-3 months before the semester commences Early enrollment with Studierendenwerk Freiburg as their dorms are cheaper Create strong and polite profile in WG-Gesucht.de mentioning your lifestyle and hobbies Beware of scams Try considering Temporary options.

NP

  • Apply to SWFR housing, which provides student dorms, first. In case this does not work out, we need to check postings on online platforms like WG Gesucht and apply for them. There are a few dormitories that can be applied to individually.
  • An accommodation crisis exists and in case we don't get proper accommodation, people have to resort to costly private housing or cheaper housing on the outskirts of the city. Each dorm is given for 6 months to 1 year, after which extension is based on luck. So house finding can be a bit stressful, especially around exams. Suggestions. Be active and send emails to all possible dorms. Check genuine WhatsApp or Instagram groups that provide sublets until a permanent accommodation is obtained.

  • Right now the German job market is not the best, so many students are not getting job opportunities after graduation, so master's students are starting with PhDs. As per my knowledge, very few students are getting jobs within the first 6 months of graduation.
  • Students find jobs from various career portals of private firms.
  • The starting salary is around 2800-3500 Euros per month if students start working in organization. Also, knowing German language is very important for landing a job.

  • You can search for accommodation through platforms like WG Gesucht, immowelt/immoscout.You have to send a message covering who you are as a person, what are your habits, and what you like. Usually, you get a response if you message them in German and provide financial proof like Schufa assuring you can pay rent on time.
  • As a student, you can approach the student desk, which will also assist you in finding accommodation. You can join Indian groups on Telegram/WhatsApp/Facebook, where you also find lots of sublet options as well.
