Leibniz University also known as University of Hannover is a public university located in Hannover, Germany.The institution is the oldest science and technology institution in Germany. The prestigious university was established in the year 1831 is a member of TU9 which is an association of 9 leading Institutes of science and technology in Germany.
The university is known for its largest science and technology library in the world. The current enrollment of the university is over 26000 students and 2000 academics and scientists working at the University in 17 faculties and 160 departments and institutes.

The application process for international students is the same for domestic applicants except for a few application requirements that are required from applicants.
At the time of applying the students must have acquired following level of scores for admission to programs taught in German:

In addition to this applicants who are willing to take spanish as an interdisciplinary subject must have B1in spanish and C1 in German.
Applicants applying for Master’s programme have to apply separately for programs offered in German and Programs offered in English with C1 level of score.
After an applicant is accepted at the university they will be issued a personal enrollment letter and hence they begin with visa formalities.
Requirements for Student Visa/Residence Permit:
Leibniz University of Hannover offers bachelors and Staatsexamen degree at the undergraduate level. The language of instruction for undergraduate programs is German.
