University of Otago is the first university of New Zealand. It was founded in 1969 and has completed 50 years in 2019. 18,840 full- time students were enrolled in the university in 2018. There are 5 campuses located in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Invercargill. More than 200 programs are offered by the university.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Official transcripts of all the educational institutions attended previously.

Visa Process for International Students

After being granted admission to the university, the international students will be required to apply for a student visa. The students can apply online or through the paper application to the Immigration New Zealand.

University of Otago offers a number of undergraduate courses in different fields. The basic requirements for all the courses is the same. However, there are some specific requirements which differ with the course as well.
