AP NEET UG 2026 Counselling Round 1 CQ Registration Reopened; Check Last Date to Apply

The Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has reopened registration for AP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1. The reopened window is for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) MBBS and BDS seats. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal at drntr.uhsap.in by paying a late fee.

The registration window opened at 4 PM on August 18, 2026, and closes at 3 PM on August 19, 2026. Candidates must pay a Rs 20,000 late fee along with the applicable application fee. The same application will remain valid for all subsequent counselling phases, including the stray vacancy round.

Who Can Apply for AP NEET UG 2026 CQ Counselling?

Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the applicable Andhra Pradesh local-status and eligibility requirements can apply. The reopened window is particularly relevant to candidates who missed the earlier registration deadlines or could not complete their fee payment.

The CQ counselling covers MBBS and BDS seats in NTRUHS-affiliated colleges. It also includes MBBS seats at Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, which operates under SVIMS, Tirupati.

What Was the Earlier AP NEET UG Registration Schedule?

The original CQ registration window was conducted from August 5 to August 12, 2026 without a late fee. NTRUHS then provided another registration window from August 13 to August 14 with a Rs 20,000 late fee.

The latest reopening gives candidates another opportunity to enter the CQ counselling process. The university has not announced another extension, so candidates should complete the application before the new deadline.

Candidates can complete the application online through the NTRUHS counselling portal.

1. Visit the official portal at drntr.uhsap.in.
2. Open the CQ registration link available on the homepage.
3. Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and other required details.
4. Fill in your personal, academic and eligibility information.
5. Upload scanned copies of the required original certificates.
6. Pay the applicable application fee and Rs 20,000 late fee.
7. Submit the application before the deadline.
8. Download the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.
