AP NEET UG 2026 Phase 2 Option Entry Begins for MBBS; Check How to Fill College Choices

The Dr N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS) has opened the Phase 2 web option entry for the Andhra Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (AP NEET UG) 2026 Competent Authority Quota (CQ) counselling. The notification was issued on September 15, 2026 on the official website at drntr.uhsap.in. The Phase 2 option entry covers MBBS admissions for the 2026-27 academic year under the 85 percent state quota.

Eligible candidates must submit their fresh college preferences through the admissions portal at apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in. Web options exercised in Phase 1 will not carry forward to Phase 2. Candidates must log in with their NEET UG 2026 roll number and password to fill new choices.

Who Can Participate in AP NEET UG 2026 Phase 2 Option Entry?

Only candidates listed in the AP NEET UG 2026 final merit list can take part. Applicants must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and completed the AP counselling registration. They must also satisfy the Andhra Pradesh local or non-local status norms notified by the state.

Candidates with unverified certificates remain ineligible for Phase 2 web options. Those who were allotted seats in Phase 1 but did not join can now participate. This is a revised rule for the 2026-27 counselling cycle.

How to Fill Web Options for Phase 2?

Candidates should follow the steps below to submit college preferences in Phase 2.

• Visit the official portal at apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in.
• Click on the MBBS Student Login link on the home page.
• Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number and the registered password.
• Select colleges and courses in the preferred order of choice.
• There is no upper limit on the number of options.
• Review the choices carefully and save the entries before exit.
• Take a printout of the saved option list for future reference.

What Has Changed in Phase 2 Counselling Rules?

Dr NTRUHS has lifted an earlier restriction on non-joining candidates. In previous years, candidates who were allotted seats but did not report stood excluded from later rounds. That penalty has now been withdrawn for the 2026-27 session.

Candidates can also enter as many college preferences as they wish this year. This differs from earlier sessions where a cap applied on the choice list. The change gives students greater flexibility while ordering their options.
