AP NEET UG 2026 Phase 3 CQ Option Entry Begins for MBBS; Check Last Date to Apply

The Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has started Phase 3 counselling. The round covers MBBS seats under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ). It is part of the AP NEET UG 2026 admission process.

Eligible candidates can submit choices at drntr.uhsap.in. The web option entry closes on October 16, 2026, at 3 PM. This phase is also known as the Mop-Up Round.

The round fills MBBS seats left vacant after Phase 1 and Phase 2. Candidates must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000. The payment must be completed before web options are submitted.

Who Is Eligible for the Phase 3 CQ Option Entry?

Dr NTRUHS has set clear rules for the Mop-Up Round. The round is open to specific sets of AP NEET UG 2026 candidates.

• Candidates not allotted a seat in Phase 1 or Phase 2.
• Candidates who missed the earlier choice submission windows.
• Students who want to upgrade their current MBBS allotment.
• Candidates who did not report at the previously allotted college.

Students holding AIQ seats up to Round 3 cannot participate. The All India Quota and state Phase 3 rounds remain separate pools.

How to Submit the AP NEET UG Phase 3 Option Entry?

The web option process on the Dr NTRUHS portal is short. The steps below reflect the official flow for the Mop-Up Round.

1. Visit the official portal at drntr.uhsap.in.
2. Open the Phase 3 Mop-Up Round web option entry link.
3. Log in using your AP NEET UG counselling credentials.
4. Pay the refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000 online.
5. Review the list of available MBBS colleges and seats.
6. Select and rank the colleges in order of preference.
7. Complete OTP verification to lock in your choices.
8. Save and download the confirmation page for records.

How Will Phase 3 Seats Be Allotted?

Seat allotment uses the standard AP NEET UG counselling logic. The system weighs four core factors for each candidate.

• The candidate's NEET UG 2026 All India Rank.
• The reservation category claimed during registration.
• The number of MBBS seats available in each college.
• The order of college preferences submitted by the candidate.

Higher merit candidates have stronger chances in the Mop-Up Round. However, final allotment depends on the vacant seat pool.
