The Bihar Board will begin the application process for intermediate admissions on 8 July 2020. Originally, the process was to be started on 1 July, but the date was shifted.
Earlier, the Bihar Board had extended the last date to apply for the scrutiny application process to 3 June.
The application forms will be available on the official website of the Online Facilitation System for Students. It is a centralized portal for admission to intermediate and degree courses in Bihar. Candidates will be able to take admission to the Arts, Science, Commerce and Agriculture fields in different colleges or schools affiliated with the Bihar School Examination Board.
The applications for the intermediate admissions will be available on the official website. Candidates can check the details of the admission and the prospectus through this link.
To submit applications, candidates should have an email address and a mobile number for the registration process. Students who have taken the Bihar Board class 10 examination have to provide their roll number, roll code and date of birth for the application. Students from other boards have to provide their scores from the class 10 examination.
A merit list will be prepared by the board based on the entry of students and their performance in the qualifying examination. It would be wise of candidates to check the cutoff from the previous year to get an idea of the score required to get admission.
Students will be provided with an option to ‘slide up’ if a student is allotted a seat in the first or second list. If a student is given a seat in a more preferable institute in a later round, their admission based on the previous list will become null and void.
