The Bihar STET re-examination will take place from September 09, 2020, to check all the important guidelines that must be strictly followed by the applicants.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct a re-examination of Bihar STET 2019. As set out in the BSEB schedule, the examination will take place from September 9 – 21, 2020.

It has come as a surprise to many candidates that BSEB will be conducting an exam involving a large number of candidates and officials at a time when the country is struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, as far as BSEB officials are concerned, the Board will follow all the guidelines provided by the government for the spread of the virus. This article is written with the aim of making Bihar STET aspirants aware of all dosages and not on the days of the exams.

The Bihar STET Admission Card shall bear all necessary guidance concerning the rules and regulations to be followed before entering the Examination Centre. Bihar STET admittance card was due to be out on August 25, 2020, but was delayed and expected to be released soon.

Bihar STET Re-exam 2019-20: Guidelines for Online Exam

Read the guidelines need to be followed on the day of the exam:

Bihar STET Reporting Time

  • Candidates will be allotted differ slots for online exams, hence, reporting time will be different for different groups
  • Reporting time will be printed on the admit cards of the candidates
  • Candidate must report much before the reporting time to avoid crowding
  • Candidates must follow the time-slot mentioned on their respective admit card
  • Try to reach the exam centre at laser one hour prior to the commencement of exam as several formalities need to be carried out by the centre officials

Carry Only the Items Mentioned on Admit Card

These are the items approved by the board that can be carried inside examination center:

  • Mask (Compulsory)
  • Gloves
  • Personal hand sanitiser
  • Simple pen
  • Water bottle
  • Printed copy of admit card
  • The admit card should be brought with the photocopy of the photo ID stapled with it
  • Original photo ID along with photocopy
  • Passport size photograph

Maintain Social Distancing

  • Candidate have to maintain social distance with one another, at least six feet
  • It is strictly prohibited to stand closely with other candidates or forming groups within and outside examination center
  • Candidate should stand in the row as per the instructions provided at venue keeping enough distance between them
  • Don’t come in contact with others
  • Don’t come close to the centre officials or invigilators
  • Candidates may be asked to wash their hands and sanitize them after entering exam centre

 Installing Aarogya Setu App is Mandatory

  • Candidates must install Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phones
  • The Aarogya Setu app helps in detecting risk factor associated with a candidate present at the center, if the candidate is found carrying high-risk factor, he or she can be asked to sit separately
  • Candidates will have to display this status to the security guard at the entry into the exam venue
  • If the candidate doesn’t have access to a smartphone, they will have to carry a signed declaration that they don’t belong to high-risk category

Get Your Temperature Checked at the Entry

  • All candidates will be temperature checked at the gate by the security personnel, candidates with higher than normal body temperature will not be allowed to enter the exam centre
  • If the candidates have fever or any symptoms of CIVID-19, I advise them to stay at home instead of appearing for Bihar STET

These guidelines are general guidelines that are being followed in all tests during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants must read the guidelines set out in the Bihar STET Admission Card for special instructions.
