BCECEB has released UGMAC 2026 Round 1 opening and closing ranks at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates can download the seat allotment letter till August 31 and appear for document verification from August 27 to 31.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 Round 1 cutoff on its official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The cutoff document lists opening and closing ranks for every participating college. It covers MBBS, BDS, BVSc and AH, and BFSc courses.
Candidates can also download the personalised seat allotment letter using their UGMAC ID and date of birth. The allotment was prepared on a merit-cum-choice basis using NEET UG 2026 scores.
BCECEB is the statutory body under the Bihar government that runs medical admissions in the state. The Round 1 seat matrix carries 4,177 MBBS and BDS seats across government and private colleges.

UGMAC 2026 Counselling Fee and Security Deposit
Every allotted candidate must pay a counselling fee along with a security deposit. The deposit differs by seat type. The figures below apply to Round 1 as per BCECEB.

What Are the Freeze, Float, and Exit Options?
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must pick one of three options. Each choice carries a different outcome for further rounds.
- Freeze: You accept the current seat as your final admission. You will not appear in later rounds.
- Float: You accept the current seat provisionally. You remain eligible for an upgrade in Round 2.
- Exit: You leave the UGMAC counselling process entirely.

- Enter your UGMAC ID and date of birth.

- Locate the UGMAC 2026 Round 1 opening and closing ranks PDF link.
- Click the link to open the ranks document.
- Search for your college and category to view the ranks.
- Save the PDF for reference during choice locking.
The Round 1 cutoff sets the reference bar for later rounds. Students who plan to float their seat can gauge upgrade chances by comparing their personal rank with the closing ranks. Missing the download window closes access to the allotment letter.

- Carry all original documents to the assigned verification centre.
