BCECEB has postponed the UGMAC 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result. The delay follows a hold on the NEET UG 2026 first round result by MCC. Candidates must track bceceboard.bihar.gov.in for the revised schedule.

Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Postponed

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has postponed the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result. The official notice was uploaded on the Board portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in on August 20, 2026.

The Round 1 provisional seat allotment result was earlier scheduled for release today. BCECEB has now postponed the announcement until further notice. A revised counselling schedule will be issued soon on the same portal.

Why Has the UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Allotment Been Postponed?

As per the official notice, the delay follows a hold on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 first round seat allotment result by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The state-level UGMAC allotment depends on the completion of the MCC All India Quota round.

BCECEB has clarified that the postponement is due to reasons outside its control. The Board will issue fresh dates for Round 1 result publication once MCC completes its own Round 1 process.

How to Check the UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result Once Released?

Once BCECEB announces the revised date, candidates can follow these steps to check their seat allotment status:

  1. Visit the official BCECEB portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  2. Click on the UGMAC 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result link on the homepage.
  3. Log in using the UGMAC application number and password.
  4. View the allotted college, course, and category status on the screen.
  5. Download the provisional allotment letter for the reporting round.

  4. Avoid finalising travel plans until the revised reporting dates are confirmed.
  5. Track the MCC portal for its Round 1 allotment result, as it triggers the UGMAC update.
