The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the UGMAC 2026 Stray Round cutoff. The opening and closing ranks are live on the official portal. Candidates can download the Round 4 result at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

The stray round covers MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. and A.H., and B.F.Sc. courses. It fills seats left vacant after Round 3 of counselling. Document verification and admission end on October 29, 2026.

About UGMAC 2026 Counselling

UGMAC stands for Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling. BCECEB conducts this process every year for Bihar medical admissions. The 2026 cycle featured three regular rounds before this stray vacancy phase.

The current round is the final counselling step for the 2026 session. All ranks released on October 29 are category-wise and college-wise. Candidates must refer to the official PDF to confirm their cutoff position.

Seat Position in the Stray Round

The stray round opened with 618 MBBS and 23 BDS vacancies in Bihar. Government institutions held 117 MBBS seats across the state. Private colleges accounted for 501 MBBS seats under the state quota.

The seat matrix also listed B.V.Sc. and A.H. and B.F.Sc. slots. The exact closing ranks per college and category appear in the official PDF.

Who is Eligible for the UGMAC 2026 Stray Round?

Only candidates who registered within the extended window of October 24, 2026 are eligible. The applicant must hold a valid NEET UG 2026 scorecard. Candidates must also meet the Bihar state domicile criteria set by BCECEB.

Participation in earlier UGMAC rounds does not block entry to this round. However, candidates who completed full admission earlier cannot upgrade through the stray round. Fresh registrants fill the remaining vacant category slots.

2. Open the UGMAC 2026 counselling section on the homepage.
3. Click the Round 4 opening and closing ranks PDF link.
4. Download the file and locate your category and course.
5. Save the PDF for use during document verification.

How to Complete Admission After Seat Allotment?

Allotted candidates must download the provisional seat allotment order from the portal. They should then report to the allotted college with the printed order. Original documents and the admission fee are mandatory at verification.

Admission is confirmed only after successful verification at the allotted institution. Candidates failing to report within the window will lose the seat. No separate reporting at BCECEB headquarters is required for this round.

2. Verify your allotment status under the stray round login tab.
3. Print the provisional seat allotment order on A4 paper.
4. Arrange original certificates, NEET scorecard, and the required admission fee.
5. Report to the allotted college on October 28 or 29, 2026.
