How Does Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Work?

Seat allotment is done based on CG PET merit, category, and the locked preferences. Allotted candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the institute on time.
Round 1 is the largest pool of seats in the entire counselling cycle. Most popular branches and top government colleges close their cutoffs in this round itself. Missing this window often means waiting for limited vacancies later.
