Who Can Participate in NEET PG Round 2 Counselling?

The second round is open to:

  • New eligible candidates applying for the first time
  • Previously registered candidates who were not allotted a seat
  • Round 1 admitted candidates seeking upgradation, subject to mandatory consent on the portal

Candidates declared ineligible as per the PG Admission Rules 2025 will not be allowed to participate in further rounds.

Applicants should carefully read the Chhattisgarh Medical Postgraduate Admission Rules 2025 before applying. Key points include:

  • Fresh institute selection is mandatory for all previously registered candidates
  • Earlier choices have been automatically nullified
  • Candidates shifting from government to private colleges must pay the additional registration fee difference
  • If a seat is allotted and later not joined or surrendered, the registration fee will be forfeited

Candidates are advised to select only those colleges where they genuinely wish to take admission.

After allotment, candidates must report for admission as per the instructions issued later by the counselling authority. Failure to complete admission formalities will lead to cancellation of allotment and forfeiture of fees.
