This is the final round of CSAB Special Counselling 2026 and covers vacant seats across NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, SPAs, and Other-GFTIs. All ranks published are All India Common Rank List (CRL) ranks. The cutoff data reflects both fresh allottees in the special round and candidates who upgraded from earlier JoSAA rounds.

Institute Admission Fee (IAF-II) Details

Allotted candidates must pay the Institute Admission Fee-II (IAF-II) to accept the seat. The fee varies by category and is non-refundable in case of withdrawal after the deadline.

How to Check the CSAB Special Round 2 Cutoff 2026?

The opening and closing ranks are hosted on a searchable tool on the official CSAB portal. Candidates can filter results by institute type and programme.

1. Visit the official portal at admissions.nic.in.
2. Select Special Round 2 from the round dropdown.
3. Choose the institute type (NIT, IIIT, IIEST, SPA, or GFTI).
4. Enter the institute name and the academic programme.
5. Click submit to view the opening and closing ranks.

How to Check the CSAB Special Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2026?

The seat allotment result is available in the candidate login area. Keep your JEE Main 2026 credentials ready before starting.

1. Go to csab.nic.in.
2. Click on the CSAB Special Round 2 seat allotment link.
3. Log in using your JEE Main application number, password, and security pin.
4. View the allotment status on the dashboard.
5. Download the provisional allotment letter for records.

What Should Allotted Candidates Do Next?

Allotted candidates must complete online reporting on the CSAB portal within the given window. This includes uploading required documents and paying the IAF-II fee. Missing the deadline is treated as rejection of the offered seat.

Candidates can also choose the Withdrawal option before the deadline if they do not wish to continue. Physical reporting at the allotted institute begins from August 13, 2026.
