DHSE Delays Kerala Class 12th Results 2020, Likely to Release after Lockdown

Kerala DHSE (Directorate of Higher Secondary Education) announced lately that Class 12 results for 2020 will be delayed by a week’s time owing to sudden lockdown being reinforced in the city of Thiruvananthapuram.

This is the third time since nationwide lockdown has been called out in Thiruvananthapuram, which disrupted last-minute preparation for releasing results. As of now, Kerala plus two results are likely to be announced on July 16. However, an official notification is awaited confirming the same.

As per state police chief Loknath Behera, “No vehicle movement will be allowed inside the city. In the corporation limit, only medical shops and essential shops like provisional stores will be allowed. Rest of the establishments will be closed. The state secretariat and other government offices will remain closed.”

Once the Kerala Board Class 12 results 2020 are out, students can check from the official result portal.

Earlier the results were scheduled to be declared on July 10. This was announced in the face of lockdown reimposed in Thiruvananthapuram.

A. Shahjehan, Education Secretary, DHSE said, “Exact date will be announced later. Lockdown in Thiruvananthapuram affected last-minute preparations.”

Meanwhile, Kerala SSLC released Class 10 Results 2020 were out on the scheduled date of June 30, 2020. More than 4 lakh students appeared for Class10 exams from 2945 centres in the state alone.
