DTE Kerala LET 2020: B.Tech. Lateral Entry Examination Application Form Released

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala has released the application form for DTE Kerala LET 2020 Examination. Candidates can apply online till November 12, 2020.

Kerala DTE conducts the DTE Kerala LET 2020 entrance exam for lateral entry into B.Tech academic year 2020-21.

DTE Kerala LET 2020: Application Process

Candidates could check the following tabulation to know about the application process of DTE Kerala LET 2020.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Kerala DTE - @dtekerala.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, search for the B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission link.

Step 3: Enter the New Registration option.

Step 4: Fill the DTE Kerala LET 2020 application form by entering basic details like name, educational details, personal details, address for communication, and option of the stream for which admission is desired.

Step 5: Pay the application fee via online mode through credit/ debit cards or NET Banking. For offline fee payment, candidates should pay to ‘SHAKTI ACCOUNT’ of the Joint Controller of Technical Examination at any branch of SBI (State Bank of India).

Step 6: Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before filling the DTE Kerala LET 2020 application form online.

The DTE Kerala LET application form 2020 should be filled attentively because incomplete application shall not be considered and no correlation shall be considered.

Application fees is INR 750 for general candidate and INR 375 for SC/ST candidates

DTE Kerala LET 2020: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates could check the eligibility criteria for applying for DTE Kerala LET 2020.

• The age limit is of 30 years (max) as on the last date of DTE Kerala LET application submission.
• Non-Keralite(s) can also apply but their admission will be confined to the Non-Government Seats in the Government controlled Self-Financing Institutions and to seats in the Private Self-Financing Institutions.
• Diploma Candidates will be admitted only to the branch of Engineering as per the equivalency given in Annexure A.
• Candidates who have passed diploma in Technology/ Engineering from any state board of Technical Education or Institution under Government of India with a minimum of 45% marks (42% for OEC/SEBC and 40% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the DTE Kerala LET 2020. 
• B.Sc. degree holders with Mathematics as their main or subsidiary subject from a recognized university as subjected by UGC with aggregate marks of at least 45% (42% for OEC/SEBC and 40% for SC/ST) are also eligible for applying for the DTE Kerala LET 2020
• Final year students of B.Sc. stream/ D.Voc. Stream/ Diploma stream fulfilling the aforesaid criteria are also eligible to apply.

Admission into all Government/ Aided/ Government Controlled/ Self-financing engineering colleges will be based on the rank list prepared through Entrance Examination conducted by the Joint Controller of Technical Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram.

DTE Kerala LET 2020 Admit Card 

DTE Kerala will release the DTE Kerala LET admit card 2020 on the official website - @www.dtekerala.gov.in. 

Registered candidates could download the admit card by entering the application form number. 

The candidate’s admit card will contain the photograph of the student, admit card number, examination date, and address of the examination center.
