Keeping in mind the pandemic situation in the world, Facebook as launched a new Educator Hub for teachers, students, and parents providing a wide range of educational resources focused on improved learning outcomes, updated lesson plans, and teaching digital literacy.
The hub has a dedicated section on racial equality and Facebook tools which will help students and teachers to stay connected while running remote classes. This app will be helpful for kids as in the times of lockdown, children are spending more time online.
The educator hub will include activities, lesson plans, conversation starters, videos, and other tools to help young minds develop navigation and thriving skills much needed in the digital world. It will be helpful to teachers as well, as it will also help them in creating and discovering online communities for maintaining the resources required for online classrooms. The hub also contains self-care strategies, mental health tips, and anti-bullying guides to help educators and students in managing stress and developing a balance between professional and personal life as it has become difficult to manage responsibilities these days.
Back-to-school season is different in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents, teachers, and students around the world are facing many challenges regarding the remote classes, work & home life culture, and importantly, the safety and well-being of each one. Facebook states that the Educator Hub will support teachers and will provide resources across the app to help navigate people and stay connected tacking care of each other.
