Telangana scholarships are available for the students who are residents of Telangana state. There are some private organization scholarships; which offer scholarships for the students of Telangana, along with governmental scholarships.

The government offers multiple scholarships to students of different categories, like Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class, Disabled Welfare, Minority Welfare, and General category. Telangana Scholarship 2021: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the scholarships differ from one to one. The one common eligibility criteria applicable to all candidates is that they must be permanent residents of Telangana state.

Other criteria include:

Students studying in Class 9 and 10 can apply.
Students who belong to the categories of SC/ST must have an annual parental income of INR 2,00,000 or below.
BC & EBC and Minority Welfare students who belong to the rural area family must have an annual parental income of INR 1,50,000 (One Lakh Fifty Thousand) or below.
BC & EBC and Minority Welfare students who belong to the urban area family must have an annual parental income of INR 2,00,000 (Two Lakh) or below.
Disabled welfare students must have an annual parental income of INR 1,00,000 or below.
Students must also have an attendance of 75% at the end of each quarter.
