The Department of Technical Education, Haryana has started the 2nd counselling registration for lateral entry candidates on November 18 on its official website techadmissionshry.gov.in.

Admissions to BE/BTech courses are done on the basis of inter-se- merit of JEE Main through online counselling by NIC. The counselling process started on October 9. The first counselling allotment result for lateral entry was declared on November 10. The allotment result of the 2nd round is expected to be declared by November 22.

Haryana BE/BTech: Steps to Register For Counselling

Applicants can register for the 2nd counselling process by following the given steps. Keep in mind that this is only for candidates who have applied for the lateral entry scheme.

  • Visit the official website of the Haryana State Technical Education Society; techadmissionshry.gov.in
  • On the homepage, scroll down and find the login section
  • Select your course ( Lateral Entry), enter your roll no and password
  • Enter the security code and click on new registration
  • After successful registration, find the option to pay the counselling fee located below the login section
  • Pay the fee and take a print out of the receipt for reference purpose

Haryana BE/BTech: Seats Reservation Policy

For admission in Technical Education Institutes, the seat reservation policy as notified by the state administration of Haryana is given below. Seats will be allotted on the basis of the quota as given below.
