The exams of last year's students from all universities and colleges in Haryana will take place by the end of September 2020. After that, the reports will still be announced before October 31, 2020.

The conference was attended by the Vice Chancellors and Controllers of Review of all government-aided universities. The meeting was chaired by Professor Brij Kishore Kuthiala, Chairman of the Haryana State Higher Education Council. The meeting was also attended by Chief Secretary, Haryana Higher Education Department, Ankur Gupta, and Director General Ajit Balaji Joshi.
Giving details on the decision taken at the meeting, the Speaker of the Haryana State Higher Education Council said that about 2 lakh students studying in the final year classes at different colleges and universities in the state and that suitable arrangements will be made for all those students who will appear for examinations.
He told that the State Government had also issued its approval, as suggested by the Union Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission. The Supreme Court has made it obligatory for the final year of the test to be carried out.

He told the Vice-Chancellors of all the universities that the guidelines provided by the Central Government and the State Government concerning the 'Normal Operating Procedure' for COVID-19 will be closely followed. Provisions for compartment and re-examination of final year students in all universities have also been made.
He said that the students who will be taking part in these exams have been given permission to take the test either online or offline.
He also told that accommodation would also be provided in the hostels for students coming from distant locations. The criteria of social isolation will be observed in the test centres.

The spokesperson also confirmed that the review question papers would contain several options, brief answers and concise responses. He said that some of the colleges that have already begun taking the exams have already announced the results.
He said that the job of conducting online classes for last year's students is going on at a quick rate. He said that, along with the exams, new admissions will also take place in September and from October 2020 onwards, based on the circumstances of the regular schools. It was also said that applicants, who would not be able to take the exam for any good reason, would be offered one more chance.
