The official notice also explains the security amount rules that every candidate must follow to stay eligible for seat allotment. Candidates applying for Government, Government-Aided, or Private Medical Colleges must pay ₹25,000, while those belonging to SC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS, or PwBD categories of Haryana need to pay ₹12,500.
For aspirants opting for Private Universities or Management Quota seats, the security amount is ₹2,00,000. This amount will be adjusted in the first-year tuition fee once the candidate joins the allotted college. However, if a candidate is allotted a seat and does not join, the security fee will be forfeited.
Those who do not receive any seat in Round 2 or Round 3 will get their amount refunded after the counselling process ends. The notice also states that fresh choices and willingness are mandatory for candidates who joined Round 1 but wish to upgrade, because choices submitted in Round 1 are no longer valid and must be filled again for Round 2.
After completing Round 2 admissions, candidates may get another opportunity through Round 3, which includes fresh allotment for remaining vacancies. Those who join in Round 2 will still be eligible for Round 3. However, candidates who join AIQ or any state quota seat up to Round 3 will not be eligible for the stray vacancy round.
