ICAI Set to Launch Virtual Executive Master Programme for New Age Auditors; Starts from Nov 23

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has planned to launch a Virtual Executive Masters Programme on New Age Auditors from November 23, 2020.

The program launched by ICAI will be conducted in sessions over a period of 16 days from November 23 to December 8, 2020.

The Chartered accountant professionals will be accustomed to the evolving regulatory and technological advances in the economy by the executive master's program.

ICAI's new program provides futuristic skill sets in digital technologies and practices in the changing environment to the new age auditors which will help them to protect the public interest.

ICAI has released an official notification stating that the future of the chartered accountant profession lies in the ability to change, evolve, and adapt to the changing environment.

The first batch of Virtual Executive Master Programme will be launched on November 23, 2020.

The program launch event will be addressed by the faculty from Practice Portfolio including SFO, CBI, RBI and Banks, Members from MRA Countries, Overseas Chapters of ICAI.

ICAI: Center for Audit Quality

To help the constant improvement in the audit quality and to boost the Indian Firms Global, the Centre for Audit quality was established.

It helps in making a conducive environment for research and develops a systematic audit quality framework.

The Center for Audit quality plays a major role in building the investor's confidence and also develop public trust.

President of ICAI, CA Atul Kumar Gupta, stated that audit quality is a mark of the audit profession while announcing the launch of the program. 

Atul Kumar also mentioned that the professional accountant is required to learn and equip themselves in the new age of technology skills in order to be ready for the future.

Other skills mentioned by Atul Kumar were acquiring managerial skills and continuing their prowess in accountancy, finance, taxation, and business law.

The ICAI's new program will help the candidates in keeping them up to date with the new skill sets required for the global environment, organization sustainability, and practices in a changing environment.
