IND SAT 2020 which was about to be held on May 30, 2020 was called off and postponed until further notice by MHRD due to ongoing coronavirus crisis in the country.
Ramesh Pokhrial delivered this news through his twitter account in which he also mentioned that new dates will be announced soon.
IND-SAT or Indian Scholastic Assessment is a standardized test conducted for students from Asian and African countries to get scholarships for studying in India.
The test was supposed to be conducted in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mauritius, Nepal, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
IND-SAT was introduced by Union Finance Minister, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman in the Union Budget speech which was held on February 01, 2020
IND SAT is conducted in English medium and consists of Multiple Choice Questions from topics like Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
