India Post GDS Recruitment 2020: Application Process for 4,166 Vacancies Begins Today

India Post has invited online applications for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks post in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand circles on its official website. 

Candidates who are interested in applying for the post can apply online by visiting the official website of India Post from today i.e., June 8, 2020. The last date to submit online applications for India Post GDS recruitment is July 7, 2020.

The recruitment drive is conducted by India Post to fill up 608 GDS vacancies to the Haryana circle, 2834 vacancies to Madhya Pradesh circle, and 724 vacancies to Uttarakhand circle.

How to Apply

Applications can only be submitted online. A candidate who desires to apply online will have to register himself/herself in the portal through https://indiapost.gov.in or https://appost.in/gdsonline with effect from 08.06.2020 to 07.07.2020 with the following basic details to obtain the Registration Number:

• Name (In capital letter as per X class certificate Marks Memo including spaces)
• Father’s Name
• Mobile Number (Unique for one Registration number)
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Community
• PH – Type of Disability – (HH/OH/VH)- Percentage of disability
• State in which Xth class passed
• Board in which Xth class passed
• Year of Passing Xth class
• Xth Class Certificate Number / Roll Number (optional)
• Transgender certificate issued by District. magistrate as per “THE TRANSGENDER
• PERSONS (PROTECTION OF RIGHTS) ACT,2019.”
