The Union Public Service Commission will not conduct the Indian Economic Service Exam 2020 due to the nil vacancy as reported by Ministry of Finance this year. Indian Economic Service (IES) is a central service and IES examination is conducted each year to recruit eligible candidates for the Indian Economic Services.
IES examination is performed with Indian Statistical Services Examination every year.
UPSC has released the Indian Statistical Exam 2020 notification but this year there is no emptiness for the Indian Economic Service and consequently this year the call of the notification is Indian Statistical exam 2020 only.
The Indian Economic Services is a specialised service meant for the specialists. The IES officers are posted within the policy institutions along with the Ministry of Finance, NITI Aayog and the likes. UPSC conducts the IES exam.
The Indian Economic Service exam is carried out in two phases. The first phase consists of six conventional kind query papers. Each paper is of 200 marks besides the General English and General research paper. The Indian Economic Service examination is conducted inside the following way.
