Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Schedule Revised; Check New Dates Here

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has revised the schedule. It covers Round 1 of the Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates can view the notice at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

The revised notice was uploaded on August 19, 2026. It updates deadlines for MBBS, BDS, and BHMS admissions. NEET UG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate.

Only NEET UG 2026 qualifiers can join the counselling process. They must appear on the Jharkhand state merit list. The entire process runs online through the JCECEB portal.

Under the revised timeline, seat allotment results will run from August 22. The declaration window closes on August 28, 2026. Reporting at allotted colleges must finish by August 28.

Application Fee and Counselling Charges

The application fee varies by candidate category. Fees must be paid online through the JCECEB portal. Payment options include net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI.

A refundable security deposit is also required at seat allotment. General and EWS candidates must pay Rs 20,000. Reserved category candidates must pay Rs 10,000 for government colleges.

Who Is Eligible for Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Counselling?

Applicants must be Indian citizens and residents of Jharkhand. They must have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the required cut-off. The candidate must be 17 years old by December 31, 2026.

Physics, Chemistry, and Biology marks in Class 12 must meet the minimum. General and EWS candidates need 50 percent aggregate marks. SC, ST, BC-I, BC-II, and PwBD candidates need 40 percent marks.

How to Register for Round 1 Counselling?

Follow these steps to complete the Round 1 counselling registration process.

1. Visit the official JCECEB portal at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
2. Click the Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 counselling link on the homepage.
3. Register using the NEET UG 2026 roll number and personal details.
4. Fill the application form and upload the required documents.
5. Pay the applicable fee using any accepted online mode.
6. Fill college and course choices in order of preference.
7. Lock choices before the deadline and download the confirmation slip.

Jharkhand NEET UG Past Counselling Trend

Jharkhand NEET UG counselling has seen schedule revisions in earlier cycles too. In 2025, the third round was extended twice. Deadlines shifted first to October 18 and later to October 25.

The current revision follows a similar pattern of extended windows. It gives more candidates a fair chance at seat allotment. Students should therefore track the JCECEB portal daily during counselling.
