The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. This round will be conducted for vacant State quota seats in MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses across Government and Private medical colleges in Jharkhand.

The decision follows directions issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, on December 17, 2025. Eligible NEET UG candidates can participate through online counselling as per the notified process.

The Special Stray Vacancy Round is conducted to fill remaining vacant State quota seats after completion of earlier counselling rounds. This round applies to admissions in MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses offered by medical and dental colleges in Jharkhand.

Only candidates who are eligible under NEET UG 2025 norms and meet state counselling conditions can take part in this round.

The counselling will be held for admissions to the following courses:

• MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
• BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
• BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Seats are available in both Government and Private Medical Colleges/Institutes of Jharkhand.

The counselling process is being organised by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB), Ranchi. The board is conducting the process in compliance with the official MCC NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule.

Candidates are advised to follow only official notifications released by JCECEB.
